Rest in peace Mark Merlino aka Sy Sable. Thank you to Ash Coyote for documenting his part in the early days of the fandom and directly from him and doing it so well and touchingly! I can’t imagine the courage it took to start the first furry convention in 1989! His efforts helped create a world where I can be comfortable being me! I’m happy I met him & recognized him for what he did. A life well lived!
