A promise made in 2023 is finally reality. Dobh Shrikot Nursing College is now officially named after late Ankita Bhandari.
The nursing college in Dobh Shrikot, Uttarakhand has been officially renamed in honor of late Ankita Bhandari — the young woman whose tragic 2022 death shook the entire state. The official board displaying the new name was installed at the college campus yesterday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had announced this renaming just days ago; however, it's worth noting that the same announcement was originally made by the CM back in 2023. After nearly two years of waiting, the decision has finally been implemented on the ground — a delayed but significant tribute to Uttarakhand's daughter.
