Our first episode of Complexion of Law is officially a Webby Honoree in the News & Politics category 🤭 (insert SHOCK). To see Wine n Chill (iykyk) right there next to the investigative journalism gold standard, ProPublica, is beyond humbling (and honestly mind blowing 😅). We are the only honoree (or nominee, insert Al-Jazeera, AP, CNN, CBS, ABC) in the category that is not a funded newsroom. Not too shabby for our first entrance!

And in doing so, remind people why recognizing and celebrating the dedication of generations of Black people in Alabama is integral to keeping democracy alive in this country. Don't worry Wine n' Chill won't be entirely retired! I'm going to keep the name (I do own the trademark after all 😊) and use it for my pop culture commentary videos/segments.
