Shift was recorded in Nashville with producer, engineer, and songwriter Dex Green, Fred Eltringham (drums), Audley Freed (guitar), Robert Kearns (bass), Marlon Patton (drums), Jared Reynolds (bass), and Joe Costa (engineer).
