Hey, there has been some discussion and accusations of me stealing edits, and I just wanted to address it before it blew out of proportion.

I have never stolen an edit, nor have I ever posted, reposted, or taken credit for other people’s edits. I have used CapCut templates on some of my edits. I genuinely believed YouTube handled templates the same way TikTok does, where the original template creator is automatically linked or credited. I now understand that isn’t the case.

There was never any intent to mislead or steal, and I am willing to remove any edits that weren’t fully made by me if that makes anyone feel better. Going forward, I’ll either give proper credit or not post template based edits at all.

Sorry for the confusion🤍


EDIT: Any edits made using templates were either removed, had the caption changed to or a pinned comment saying, “this is a CapCut template 🤍”.

No hate to ​⁠‪@KalogerasSistersCentral‬ but I’m pretty sure my video was directly copied. I posted mine over two weeks before theirs, and the videos are essentially the same. Especially since they have a much larger following and their video has gotten a little bit more views than mine I would’ve really appreciated being credited 🙏 (her video is the first pic and mine is the second)
