I've gone through so much pain and hardship in the last few months, y'all.

But it can't stay night forever, and the sun is rising again.

The new year is arriving with an exciting new chapter in my life and on the channel.

Hey, everybody. In what's been a long string of struggles in my life over the last few months, on Wednesday I lost my job of 15 years, completely unexpectedly and unfairly, totally out of nowhere. To add insult to injury, I was only two months away from getting my 15 year Christmas bonus, which I was really counting on to come in for me and is now down the drain. I was so close. Luckily, as you might know from my streams, I am undefeatable and never give up no matter how hard things get.

Here's what this means for the future of the channel.

Firstly, I'm going to need to wait until Cyber Monday/Black Friday to get a new laptop in hopes of finding a good sale to help save some money.

Secondly, I'm now on the hunt to find a well-paying part time job so I can get by while having more time to get more serious about my creative work like streaming, relocalizing MOTHER 2, and making music.

Once I have a solid part time job and a new laptop, I'm going to come back to streaming in a big way. I'll be able to stream more than ever, which will mean more games, more playthroughs, and faster growth.

I so deeply appreciate all of you for your love, support, and patience while my life has been in turmoil and my channel's been on hold. I can hardly wait to come back bigger and better than ever once all this hardship passes and the road smooths out again. Wish me luck, give me your best suggestions for well-paying part time jobs, and I'll hopefully see you in a couple more months. ❤️‍🔥 Thank you.

Hi, everyone. I miss you all so much. I've been having a lot of difficult setbacks lately, and for the latest one, I could use some assistance.

My streaming laptop's motherboard has died on me (the same laptop on which I'm making my MOTHER 2 localization). I'm in need of a top quality laptop for solid, reliable streaming in HD at 60fps without breaking the bank. The more USB ports it has, the better. My ROG Zephyrus G15 has failed me with a fried motherboard after only two or three years despite a hefty $1500 price on purchase, which is unacceptable. I need recommendations, either for specific laptops or places to get one at a good price. I miss gaming, streaming, and interacting with you so very deeply. ❤️ I need it.

Hi, everyone! I've been quiet the last week or more, and I'd like to bring you up to speed on what's going on.

If you watch the VoD of my last stream, you'll see me very stressed out, short-fused, and frustrated. I had a lot on my plate and not enough time to handle it all, things weren't coming together on the timeline I wanted them to, my Internet was acting up again, and life and people were triggering me. I was just not in a good headspace; I wasn't having fun.

Instead of forcing myself to stream, I've been getting my life back in balance. I've been handling things I've needed to do for which I didn't have time, I've been spending time with good people and loved ones, I've been waiting for stressors to resolve, and I've been clearing my head.

I'm feeling so much better now, and things are slowly coming together to get back in order for streaming to return. I want to come back, finish Vulgus, and move on to Pokémon Stadium, but I can't rush it if I want it to be an enjoyable experience, so I'm waiting for the final holdups to be cleared before I return. Hopefully that'll be sooner than later, because I miss my regular viewers and want to get to do my thing for the new subscribers.

I love you all, and I thank you deeply for your support and patience. Even when I'm not streaming, I'm thinking about you guys and gals and looking forward to the next time I get to perform for and interact with you. In numerous ways, things will be better when I can get back to it again. For now, take care of yourselves, follow the guidance of your intuitions, and find something to enjoy about each day.

Tune in tomorrow for a special stream, one last capper on the Pokémon Yellow playthrough. It'll be my 499th video on the channel.

That means that the stream after that, my 500th video, will be an unexpected surprise, something unique before I set forth into the 500s with more SNK arcade goodness, which will then be followed by the beginning of my journey through Pokémon Stadium.

WOW! Pokémon got off to SUCH a phenomenal start tonight. To those of you who were there, thank you for all the love during the stream. For those of you who weren't, DO NOT MISS the VOD!

Were we the first to ever do a real link cable battle LIVE on stream? It's more likely than you think! SO fucking cool, I'm so glad everything worked so well. This was the first time I'd ever used a live camera while streaming, and trying new tech can be a puzzle to get everything working, looking, and sounding good, but I'm so thrilled by how wonderfully it all came together. Dalton's epic surprise entrance as Green (complete with entrance music!), two fun battles via legitimate Game Boy Color link cable live on air, great reactions from viewers in chat, just, UGH! What a wonderful stream. Viewers, I love you guys.

Look forward to LOTS more Pokémon to come as Dalton and I work our way through Kanto as the respective Red and Green! 🤩
