In 2023, I was a beginner nail tech.
My shaping wasn’t clean.
My retention wasn’t consistent.
My designs were terrible.
And acrylic application was LUMPY.

I was bad.

But I kept going.

I practised when nobody was watching.
I made mistakes.
I redid sets.
I questioned myself.
And I showed up anyway.

If I had waited to feel “ready” or “talented,” I would’ve never started.
If I had let being bad stop me, I would’ve never improved.

Fast forward to 2026, my sets are clean, detailed, structured.
Problems that used to stress me barely exist now.

And the only difference?

Repetition.
Consistency.
Time.

You don’t skip the beginner stage.
You build through it.
