Bob Marley, Peter Tosh & Bunny Wailer Last Show Together | w/ Stevie Wonder (Wonder Dream Concert 1975)
These photos capture one of the most historic nights in reggae history Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer sharing the same stage one last time during Stevie Wonder’s Wonder Dream Concert at Kingston’s National Stadium.
The show was part of Jamaica’s “Holiday Jamaica” week of events (Sept 29–Oct 5, 1975) and was staged as a benefit for the Jamaican Institute for the Blind.
Third World opened the night, and then the Wailers delivered a rare set packed with classics like “Rastaman Chant,” “Simmer Down,” “One Love,” “No Woman, No Cry,” and “Jah Live.”
And of course the legendary moment where Bob and Stevie connect on-stage for a once in a lifetime jam of “I Shot The Sheriff” / “Superstition”.

The Day Peter Tosh Went to Nigeria (Feb 1982) | Roots History
Photographed by Copeland Forbes
Arriving in Lagos, Nigeria at Murtala Mohammed International Airport on February 12, 1982 the same day, Pope John Paul II also visited Nigeria. Tosh reportedly landed at approximately 6:30 PM and was received by Sonny Okosun and King Sunny Adé.
This visit took place during the civilian administration of President Shehu Shagari, during Nigeria’s Second Republic.
While in Nigeria, Peter Tosh was hosted by several major Nigerian artists, including:
• Fela Anikulapo Kuti
• Sonny Okosun
• King Sunny Adé
• Christy Essien-Igbokwe
Although multiple musicians hosted Tosh in different ways, Sonny Okosun in particular took him around parts of the country especially Benin City, as well as Uromi in Okosun’s home state.
During his time in Benin City, Tosh visited the Nigerian Observer Newspaper office along Airport Road, where he granted interviews. He was also seen at Uromi market, purchasing souvenirs to take back to Jamaica and rode his unicycle around Benin City along Ring Road down to Airport Road under police escort and watch.

“Music is a science, it heals depression, it awakens, most people don’t know, they just take music for an entertainment, something to dance to, and enjoy yourself and you go to bed and forget it tomorrow, music must never be forgotten, it’s like a fountain that keeps on flowing.”

Bob Marley in London, June 1976 — The Morning After Hammersmith
Photos by Guido Harari
“This is the morning after a wild gig at Hammersmith Odeon. Besides taking pictures, I interviewed Marley for the Italian press and had a really hard time getting through his thick Jamaican patois. However I was mesmerized by the man and his traveling family, as well as the heavy smell of Jamaican cuisine and ganja.” — Guido Harari
Archive Note: A complete scan/transcript of Guido Harari’s interview is not widely available; however, contemporary Italian coverage of Marley’s London run appears in Ciao 2001 (N. 27, 11 July 1976).
