Love can make us blind.
I was deeply in love with someone I called Mr. X. I never showed his face, but I always spoke about him online. He was kind, and I truly believed in us. We spent almost two years together.

But one day, things ended. I was broken, hurt, and confused. The love I thought would last forever was gone, and he even married someone else. That pain shook me.

Not long after, I met another man—my son’s father. I met him at a nightclub, a place I normally would never go. I was only there because I was trying to forget my heartbreak.

Looking back, I see I was too vulnerable. I jumped into something new without thinking, just to fill the hole inside me. And that decision changed my life forever.

When I look back, I see how blind love made me. I thought I was building a future with someone who cared. But I was only building lies.

I received gifts in the past, but not from him. The diamond necklace, the wristwatch, the phone, the car — those weren’t from him. They were from a man I dated before.

When I was pregnant in America, he said he bought me a car. I was happy and even posted about it. But later, I found out the car wasn’t in my name, and it wasn’t even in his name. It was in someone else’s name.

That day, I realised something was deeply wrong. I saw how fake everything was. He was never giving. He only used appearances to make himself look better.

I was carrying a child, trying to build joy, but behind me, lies were piling up.

My mom always dreamed of becoming a photographer, but my grandfather refused. At that time, it wasn’t common for women to pursue careers like that.

I believe she lived her dream through me. From an early age, she noticed my talent. She pushed me into children’s shows, recitals, and performances.

Looking back, I see it clearly. Her passion flowed into me, and she gave me the platform to shine.

That’s why I say my acting started before I even understood it. It was my mother’s dream, and it became mine too.

Growing up was not easy. I was a troubled child. My mother worked hard as a single parent. She left early every morning, and I grew up without a father figure.

I respect every woman raising children alone. It is not easy. But a boy still needs a man to guide him... someone with good values and principles. Someone respectable, some one he can look up to for guidance.

Without that, life can become chaotic for a young boy trying to grow up. If you are young, find a role model, even through books or social media. The man I am today is because of my mother, Mrs. Joy.

People often ask, “How much do actors really earn?” The truth is, at some point, your main income will not come from acting anymore.

The industry gives you fame, and fame gives you leverage. When people know your name and trust your brand, business becomes easier. If I say I’m selling property, they trust me because of my name. Someone else may have to beg and pitch for months. I don’t.

That’s why I tell people—build a strong, clean brand. The money will not always come from the screen, but the opportunities it opens can be bigger than the salary.
