When YAH told me to rap in 2009 I was so confused. I had never did anything in music at all but led a couple songs in Junior Church at Bethlehem Temple "The Bread House" when I was like 9 - 11 years old. I remember when I first heard Gospel Rap, before this CHH mess, I thought it was the cornryist thing I’ve ever heard. But I was not spiritual at all. At the age of 25 when I gave my life to Christ in prayer he told me to rap and gave me my name and everything then sent me in this journey. I never had any goals but I know I didn’t like not being heard. One day in prayer YAH told me he was taking my music to the nations and I instantly thought I was going to be this big name and be well respected in my city but it was quite the opposite. I was overlooked, never invited to shows, never acknowledged but I kept going cause I had a word. So to see my music reach places I never been and probably will never go is so fulfilling. I have a different outlook because I never was talented in my own right but I was given something that I knew wasn’t for my own glory. I’ve outlasted a lot of people I looked up too and I pray YAH is pleased by my faithfulness in spite of the obstacles. I have to work twice as hard to get a listen but it’s ok because somewhere in the world my music is being a blessing. I say that to all the ones who all you got is a word. That’s better than any opportunity a man can give you. Just keep going and grind like heaven is your audience.
