This was one of my favorite “Gaz moments” a while back, and it made me laugh way more than it should’ve.

We were at the table and I’m explaining drybrushing. Real simple, wipe most of the paint off, light touch, let the texture do the work etc. I’m doing the whole “trust me” thing, showing it on the mini, trying to be helpful like a responsible adult for once.

Then Gaz looks at me dead serious and goes, “Yes but how are you doing that?”

And I’m like… “what have I been explaining this whole time?

He pauses… looks at the mini… then goes, “Oh. You already explained it.”

I don’t know why, but that made me so happy.

Not because he forgot (okay, a little because he forgot), but because for this one tiny moment in time… I was the smart one 🤣I was the teacher. I was the guy who knew what was happening. And Gaz, my beloved, brilliant, wonderfully stubborn friend, had to admit I was right.

And of course, because I’m a true friend… I will never let him forget it. Ever. Not out of spite or anything. Out of love of course. And also because it’s objectively funny.
