Hi, I am Sheer. I am a Botanist & a Horticulturist located in the High desert of Southern California with a passion for growing cut flowers.
My goal via this channel is to empower the home gardeners or anyone willing to learn with the knowledge of how to grow a year round cutting garden regardless of the season & where they reside. So, together we can reduce the ecological carbon foot print of flying the Cut Flowers from overseas. Today over 80% of the Cut Flowers sold in the US fly from Columbia & Ecuador.
My channel is focused mostly on cut flower gardening however, I also enjoy sharing DIY videos from time to time. I hope to add value in your gardening journey by sharing my skills & knowledge I have acquired over the period of many years working as a botanist & a horticulturist.

The journey of cut flowers from my garden to bath and beauty products!!
It all starts with a bouquet of fresh cut flowers.
Then once they are done with their vase life I dry them completely.
Then I make oil infusions using the dried flowers. Once they have steeped all their goodness in to the oil in about 8 weeks or so I strain the oil and use that oil to make body butters, face creams, salves & soaps.
The left over flowers after straining are used as decor on top of the bar soaps and some used as fire starters in the chimney.
This way nothing goes to waste 🥀💐🌷🌸🌼🌍♻️🌎

Herbal/floral tea from the garden! Make this delicious tea at home from all the herbs and flowers growing in your garden 🌿🌸🌺🌻🌼🥀💐
Ingredients:
Two cups dried dandelion leaves
Two cups dried rose petals
1/4 cup dried chamomile flowers
1/4 cup dried bachelors buttons flowers
Two tablespoons lemon peel powder
Two tablespoons dried hibiscus flower petals
Recipe: mix all the dried flowers and ingredients together and fill it up in a jar and use as needed when making tea in hot water 💐
All ingredients in this recipes are organically grown here in my garden and are all edible.
