I was at the movie premiere of Scare Out in Sydney for Chinese New Year earlier this week. Great night with great people and a change in uniform for this particular fish sniffer. This movie was about spies or secret agents. Fittingly, no one suspected that I had a few stray ShroomTails in my pocket 🤣

You wouldn’t know this, but the last several days I’ve been dealing with a big problem with my PC which has almost derailed this weekly video. After countless driver reinstalls and looking up help threads I still haven’t figured out what the issue is. It’s possible GPU related as I had a situation of a computer freeze which led to all these issues or software bugs which ultimately the editing software no longer runs properly (videos don’t play). I’ve not been able to resolve the issue so onto plan B, a backup PC.

I’ve been able to get a backup PC to try complete the video. For those that don’t know, editing software demands the highest specs to run properly. This backup PC obviously is nowhere near as powerful and to boot, it had no monitor, a dodgy keyboard (space bar double spaces and wireless mouse which I keep taking in and out of battery to reset it) and no wifi card. So it couldn’t connect to the internet which was a problem because software checks for a licence when I open the program.

Anyway long story short, I’ve got it in a working state atm so we shall see what kind of YouTube video I upload tonight. And by working state, plenty of lag while files load up, choppy video playback when I’m cutting up footage and more! It’s gonna be another long night 😭
