I just finished watching the king's affection AND ITS SO GOOD!!! Literally the first two episodes had me sobbing especially the scene where the real lee hwi died and then dami's mother died, who was the only one who looked out for her and protected her from the emperor + lord sangheon. Rowoon's character jung jiun was SO CUTE like the way that he fell for dami and all the cute little things that he did for her (even without knowing shes a girl) made my heart melt. Park Eunbin was a great prince and i loved seeing the difference between her as the prince and her as a woman cuz shes absolutely gorgeous either way. I wished they did a little more with the relationship between dami and her father because they had such an interesting relationship where he silently loved her and protected her even though he failed to do so when she was younger. Anyways, there were some parts where I got bored so I just skipped through but the last episodes were so exciting and the ending was really well deserved.

i heard some people saying she was innocent but i didn’t see anyone back that up w any evidence and it’s prob biased. as far as i know, majority of evidence presented goes against her and she was the real perpetrator, and now she’s no longer in le sserafim

any thoughts? if you think she’s innocent please tell me why because i don’t agree

I really don’t think she’ll be able to debut again because of all of this - but i don’t understand how a company like hybe let her debut with such a scandal in her past. but she’s 16 (literally the same age as me) so she can pick other career paths and finish school

life lessons - if you plan to be an idol, make sure you have an absolutely clear record and no one you knew before has the intention to ruin your career

some quick penthouse thoughts:
I've been thinking about this for a bit and I've come to this conclusion - I believe that logan knew that suryeon killed herself.
ofc suryeon made it look like seojin killed her to add onto her crimes and give her no escape but logan probably figured out what suryeon did afterwards. he gave her resources she needed to survive (life jacket and gps tracker) and he saw that she didn't even bring them with her. suryeon knew the risk and still chose to leave the stuff there which is an indicator to logan that it was her plan to die on that cliff.
also he knew how much suryeon was hurting especially after yoonchul's death and how guilty she felt towards aegyo, yoonhee, yoonchul, and all their children. he tried to comfort her but ofc there's also so much he can do. suryeon even died on the same day yoonchul did and his death really broke her.
logan also knew suryeon very well and knew that she was very smart and strategic. she left the stuff for a reason. suryeon is also very strong and can easily win a fight, and she could have easily gotten out of seojin's grasp. he probably knew that
anyways that's all I have to say about that. obviously to eunbyeol, the police, and the rest of the world seojin was responsible for suryeon's death when she wasn't, but seojin had so many other crimes she was responsible for so she wasn't innocent at all.

if I were the writers of penthouse I would have either not killed logan at the end or not bring him back for season 3 after his bombing in season 2. or no logan death at all, meaning no unrealistic survival of a bomb that exploded RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. the final scene would have been seola meeting suryeon and suryeon hugging her for the first time as mother-daugther cause the core of the show was suryeon's revenge for the torture and murder of the daughter she didn't get to raise - not her relationship with seola's adopted brother! instead of renaming the cheong a concert hall back to simoon, the name of suryeon's father's original company that was stolen by dantae, they should have named it after seola to commemorate her in the field she was passionate in.
