I found this AI cover using my lyrics (without attribution in the AI-generated description, of course) and there's not a whole lot I can do about it, but just putting this out there as a heads-up.

There are a LOT of AI English covers like this out there now, and I've mostly just ignored them until now because they're, well, bad. But it was actually quite jarring to see what a huge difference it made once the AI generated vocals and music were done with human-written lyrics. This thing was uploaded 4 days after my cover and already has 5x the views.

It's always a little stunning to me how many people seem unable to pick up on the fact that these are AI, or maybe simply don't care. Not sure which is worse. But if you DO care, I think the patterns are pretty easy to recognize once you catch on to the formula. This one is clockable even just from the thumbnail, and then even more obvious once you see the description and the channel's pace of upload (almost every day). Really wish YouTube would enforce some proper labeling mechanisms though.

Rakuen has always been a gold standard of narrative indie games in my mind. Short and sweet and resonant. If you haven't played it yet, I really recommend you give it a shot—it tackles the themes of grief, memory, and persisting hope with so much complexity, but all in such a deceptively childish tone. I watched a playthrough of it way back in 2017 around my college graduation, and now I'm considering revisiting it on stream pretty soon just to experience it again through my own hands. We'll see :D Singing this cover of my favorite song from the game might have already been enough to scratch the itch hahahah
