Anything goes here: retro gaming on pretty much every game system from 1977, cancerous clones, pathetic plug and plays and awesome indies from today. Hardware reviews of game systems, rare and common as well as every type of mobile gaming available. I truly play EVERYTHING. I try to cover only things I like, so if you are looking for some hate you are in the wrong place.

In real life I make a living in networking and security so I throw in some geeky tech stuff from time to time as well.

AI Use:
I try to mark the use of AI in videos when I can, but my general policy is:

I regularly use music performed by AI, but the lyrics are usually either created or heavily edited my me unless the ai comes up with something hilarious.

My channel is NOT profitable. No-one is losing their job or any money to my use of AI. I use it to save time on production and fill in gaps in my skill -You totally do not want me sing.

How many times have you restarted Fallout 4? I’m on my 3rd run now. I keep getting into it, then stop playing for a year, then re-starting to get back to basics again. I think this tends to start happening in your 40s as you start being short on time. In my 50’s it’s mostly because I don’t remember jack any more…

Sorry no videos this week folks: Ive been in the hospital from midnight Tuesday to Thursday afternoon fighting my arch nemesis: Kidney stones... I'm released now but am on bed rest for the next day or so. Coffee and a Game is still on for Sunday so I hope to see you then!

Interview with ‪@johnhancockretro‬ on ‪@GuysGamesandBeer‬ . I think this is a really good look into what is going on with him at this time. I have eliminated about 50 -60% of my collection over the last couple of years and the feeling that that your gaming collection has started to own you is not something that a lot of people can relate to, but I totally get it. The interview is candid, unrehearsed , very drunk and it's why I started G2B. For the record, a whole lot of his collection is going to Guys Games and Beer - an organization that I am a founding member of, and I hope we can do justice to it.

For the record I poke a bit of fun at Metal Jesus, but it's all in good humor. He has been a nice guy every time I have run into him.

Good News! Bad News ...

The good news is polishing my copy of TimeStalkers fixed the loading issue I was having. Unfortunately my copy of Hydro Thunder will not work with VGA out (as my HDMI adapter uses). I hear the "Hot New" version works, so maybe I will try it.
