Independent and rooted in tradition, Petro’s family has cared for their 300-year-old water mill deep in the Carpathian Mountains for generations. Surrounded by breathtaking wilderness, they continue to uphold the customs of their ancestors — from repairing the ancient mill wheel to tending the land and preparing traditional dishes.

In this video, you’ll see Petro restoring the mill, filling gaps with moss, and maintaining the mechanism that has stood the test of time. You’ll also witness the family preparing stuffed cabbage rolls (golubtsi) and preserving them in jars — enough to feed every member of the household. Behind the mill stands a centuries-old walnut tree, home to moss and birds’ nests, cared for by the entire family.

This documentary tells the story of a family for whom heritage, hard work, and love for nature have become a lifelong mission.

Dear friends! In our new video, we’ll show you the daily life of shepherds living in a remote mountain village on the border with Romania. Despite the harsh winter conditions, their life is full of harmony with nature. 🏔️

You’ll see them cutting firewood with an old two-man crosscut saw "Druzhba", transporting hay on a horse-drawn cart, repairing tools, and taking care of their sheep. And of course, enjoy the footage of them eating homemade sausages after a hard day's work. 🌿🐑

This is a story about finding happiness in the simplest things and living in harmony with nature.
