My creative outlet, simply put, is that I have songs I want to be sung and stories I want to tell. I love to write—poetry, songs, and stories. But for a long time, I gave up writing, unsure of what to do with it all. Now, I've found a way to share my work, using free computer tools. I started with Microsoft Designer, then decided to try Artistly. Microsoft Movie Maker is also simple and easy to use. I use Suno to turn my poetry into songs, which challenges me to think differently about my writing.
I'm also a Christian, and I enjoy setting scripture to music. It’s not easy—because I want the lyrics to rhyme, but also remain faithful to the Word. Sometimes, while trying to write a song, I end up writing a sermon instead!

Alaric Grey has a new album coming out "The Watchman". First song "Watchman on the Wall" will be released Sat. May 17. New song coming weekly/biweekly.
Album Introduction: “The Watchman” by Alaric Grey
In a world growing numb to truth, The Watchman stands.
This album is a cry in the quiet—an echo of ancient letters written in fire and sealed with grace. Inspired by the seven churches of Revelation, The Watchman journeys through warnings and wonders, through fading love and enduring faith, through persecution, compromise, and the call to overcome.
Each song is a lamp lit in the darkness…
A trumpet blast before the storm…
A voice from the wall crying, “Return.”
These are not just songs.
They are laments. They are exhortations. They are prayers.
They are reminders that though the world may forget, God still walks among the lampstands.
And He still speaks.
The Watchman does not predict. He prepares.
He calls not for perfection, but repentance.
Not for fear, but faith.
This is the sound of awakening.
The silence before thunder.
The call to remember, endure, and rise again.
