Hey y’all, it’s Mel. I wanted to hop on here and have a real, heart-to-heart talk with you about some changes happening here at Tiny Haus Life.

I’ve noticed some of you wondering why the long-form virtual tours have disappeared from the channel lately. I want to be 100% transparent with you.

The truth is, every time I post those long virtual tours, YouTube keeps ALL of the advertising revenue. As much as I love sharing these homes with you, it’s become impossible to sustain the time and cost it takes to produce those videos when the platform doesn't support the creator.

So, here is the new plan:

I moved the full virtual tours over to my website. But don't worry, I'm not going anywhere! I’ll be posting YouTube Shorts 3x per week featuring a compilation of the best tiny homes and cabins under $200K that I found for my members during the week. (I already posted 2 Shorts videos this week showing a total of 8 homes!!)

I also want you to know that I am not gatekeeping. If you see a home in a Shorts video and want to know where it is, just ask! I will gladly give you the location so you can go do your own research on Zillow.

The deep-dive research, full details, and the ability to tell me which states to explore next are reserved for the members of Tiny Haus Life. They are the ones who make it possible for me to keep doing what I love.

I hope y’all understand. This change allows me to keep finding these gems for you AND continue to pay my mortgage at the same time! lol
