Article 🚨 The Path Spoken by Lord Paramaśiva Is the Same Path Followed by Hare Krishna Devotees

These Are the Scriptural Evidences

Heartfelt Mahā Śivarātri greetings to all devotees 🙏

Devotees are requested to read the following conversations directly based on Purāṇic scriptures, especially the dialogue between Lord Śiva and Goddess Pārvatī, to understand the authorized path for Kali-yuga.

Śiva–Pārvatī Conversation

(Padma Purāṇa – Pātāla Khaṇḍa)

Pārvatī uvāca

Śloka
(Padma Purāṇa, Part 4, Pātāla-khaṇḍa, Chapter 80, Verses 1–3)

ghore kaliyuge prāpte viṣaya-graha-saṅkule |
putra-dāra-dhanādyaiḥ ārteḥ
tat kathaṁ dhāryate vibho
tad-upāyaṁ mahādeva
kathaya sva-kṛpā-nidhe ||

O Lord!
After the terrible age of Kali has arrived,
human beings have become completely entangled
in sense objects.

They are deeply afflicted by attachment to
sons, wives, wealth, and possessions.

Their minds are like an ocean
in which sense gratification devours them like sharks.

O Mahādeva, ocean of mercy,
please tell the solution—
how can such people be sustained and saved?

Īśvara uvāca (Lord Śiva speaks)

Śloka:

harer rāma harer rāma
harer nāmaiva kevalam ||
hare rāma hare kṛṣṇa
kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇeti maṅgalam ||

evaṁ vadanti ye nityaṁ
na hi tān baddhate kaliḥ |
antarāntara karmāṇi kṛtvā
nāmāni ca smaret ||

In Kali-yuga, there is only one remedy:

“Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare”

Those who constantly chant these holy names
are not bound by the defects of Kali-yuga.

Even while performing worldly duties,
one must repeatedly remember and chant
the holy names of the Lord.

Reference:
Padma Purāṇa, Part 4, Pātāla-khaṇḍa, Chapter 80, Verses 1–3

Brahma Yāmala Tantra

Ślokas:

hariṁ vinā nāsti kiñcit
pāpānistārakaṁ kalau |
tasmāl lokoddhāraṇārthaṁ
harināma prakāśayet ||

sarvatra mucyate loko
mahāpāpāt kalau yuge |
hare kṛṣṇa pada-dvandvaṁ
kṛṣṇeti ca pada-dvayam ||

tathā hare pada-dvandvaṁ
hare rāmeti dvayam |
tadante ca mahādevi
rāma rāma dvayaṁ vadet ||

Meaning:

Lord Śiva tells Goddess Pārvatī:

In Kali-yuga, there is no means of liberation from sin except the holy name of Hari.

For delivering all people, the chanting of the holy name must be propagated.

One should first chant “Hare Kṛṣṇa”, then again chant “Kṛṣṇa”,
then chant “Hare”, followed by “Rāma”, and finally chant “Rāma Rāma.”

Thus, “Hare Kṛṣṇa” comes first —
this is direct tantric evidence.

Therefore, since Lord Paramaśiva Himself taught the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra,
we must practice it carefully—
this is the foundation for Kali-yuga.

Nārada Pañcarātra

(Second Rātra, Chapter 8, Verses 24–25)

(Dialogue between Lord Śiva and Nārada Muni)

Ślokas:

eva bandhuḥ sa pitā sa maitrī jananī ca saḥ |
sa ca bhrātā patiḥ putro
yaḥ kṛṣṇa-vartma darśayet ||

jāla-budbuda-vat sarvaṁ
viśvaṁ ca sa-carācaram |
bhaja rādhēśvaraṁ vipra
śrī-kṛṣṇaṁ prakṛteḥ param ||

Meaning:

O Nārada!

That system (tantra) and that mantra
by which pure devotion to Śrī Kṛṣṇa arises
is the true tantra and the true mantra.

Whoever shows us the path of devotion to Kṛṣṇa—
he alone is our:

relative

father

mother

friend

brother

husband

son

The entire moving and non-moving universe
is momentary, like bubbles in water.

Therefore, O brāhmaṇa,
worship Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Lord of Rādhā,
who is completely transcendental to material nature.

Since Paramaśiva Himself instructed the worship of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa,
we worship Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa.

Śiva as the Greatest Vaiṣṇava

Śloka:
Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 12.13.16

nimna-gānāṁ yathā gaṅgā
devānāṁ acyuto yathā
vaiṣṇavānāṁ yathā śambhuḥ
purāṇānām idaṁ tathā

Meaning

Just as the Ganges is the greatest of rivers,
Acyuta (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) is the greatest among the demigods,

Śambhu (Lord Śiva) is the greatest among the Vaiṣṇavas,

similarly, Śrīmad Bhāgavatam is the greatest of all Purāṇas

Srila Prabhupada :
Sriamad Bhagavatam B 4.24.30, Purport:

It is said, vaiṣṇavānāṁ yathā śambhuḥ: Lord Śiva is the best of all devotees. Therefore all devotees of Lord Kṛṣṇa are also devotees of Lord Śiva

Padma Purāṇa – Uttara Khaṇḍa (193.3)

Śloka:

purāṇeṣu tu sarveṣu
śrīmad-bhāgavataṁ param |
yatra prati-padaṁ kṛṣṇa
gīyate bahudharṣibhiḥ ||

Meaning:

Among all Purāṇas, Śrīmad Bhāgavatam is supreme,
because every verse glorifies Śrī Kṛṣṇa,
and it is praised by countless great sages.

Since Paramaśiva declared Bhāgavatam as supreme,
we study Śrīmad Bhāgavatam.

Rudra Gīta

Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 4.24.28

yaḥ paraṁ raṁhasaḥ sākṣāt
triguṇāj jīva-saṁjñitāt |
bhagavantaṁ vāsudevaṁ
prapannaḥ sa priyo hi me ||

Meaning:

One who fully surrenders
to Vāsudeva—Śrī Kṛṣṇa,
who is beyond the three modes
and the controller of both the living entity and material nature—
is most dear to me (Lord Śiva).

Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 4.24.42

namas ta āśiṣām īśa
manave kāraṇātmane |
namo dharmāya bṛhate
kṛṣṇāyākuṇṭha-medhase ||

You are the supreme bestower of all benedictions,
the original enjoyer,
the cause of all causes—Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

You possess unlimited intelligence,
are never restricted by circumstances,
and therefore I repeatedly offer my obeisances unto You.

Padma Purāṇa – Uttara Khaṇḍa

(Chapter 3, Verses 8–10)

(Śiva–Nārada Dialogue)

Meaning Summary:

In knowledge, none is greater than Kṛṣṇa

Among yogīs, none is superior to Kṛṣṇa

Among all siddhis, none surpass Kṛṣṇa

Among all controllers, none is beyond Kṛṣṇa

In austerity, power, intelligence, mercy, protection, humility—
no one exceeds Kṛṣṇa

Śaṅkara uvāca

(Padma Purāṇa, Uttara Khaṇḍa, Section 6, Chapter 250, Verses 41, 44, 45)

Meaning:

O Jagannātha, Śrī Kṛṣṇa!

I accept You as Puruṣottama,
the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

You are the creator, maintainer, destroyer,
and the spiritual master of the universe.

Both conscious and unconscious existence rest upon You.

You are Brahman, the Lord of all demigods,
the beginning and the end,
the Supreme Absolute Truth and Paramātmā.

Final Declaration

📖 Padma Purāṇa, Uttara Khaṇḍa, Chapter 226, Verse 73

ātmēśvarastu prokto
veda-vādaiḥ sanātanaiḥ |
nirupādhi-īśvaratvaṁ hi
vāsudeve pratiṣṭhitam ||

Meaning:

According to eternal Vedic statements,
Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) alone is the Supreme Lord of all souls,
free from all limitations.

Final Message

If anyone claims that ISKCON devotees hate Lord Śiva,
immediately present these scriptural evidences.

Those who live based on dharma and śāstra live happily.

Blind belief is weak—scriptural truth is powerful.

Article 🚨 Why Do People Respond Differently Even to the Same Situation?

Levels of Consciousness — Not the Power of Circumstances, but the Power of Krishna Consciousness

In this world, not all human beings are the same.
Even when the same situation arises, different people react in different ways.

A person’s life and responses depend upon the level of consciousness they possess.

Low consciousness → becomes a slave of circumstances

Intermediate consciousness → can tolerate circumstances

Higher consciousness → can transform circumstances

Because what determines our reaction is not the situation itself…

It is the level of consciousness within us.

Lord Krishna explains this in the Bhagavad-gītā:

Bhagavad-gītā 3.27

prakṛteḥ kriyamāṇāni
guṇaiḥ karmāṇi sarvaśaḥ

“All activities are carried out by the modes of material nature…”

Behind our actions, the influence of nature’s modes is working.
The living entity responds according to his condition and consciousness.

Three Levels of Consciousness

1) Low Consciousness — Being Driven by Circumstances

A person in low consciousness…

Immediately becomes affected by external situations

Anger, fear, greed, lust increase rapidly

Self-control becomes weak

Example:

When such a person sees an attractive woman or man,
he is quickly pulled toward improper thoughts.

This is the influence of rajo-guṇa and tamo-guṇa (passion and ignorance).

Such people also imagine small problems to be very big and become fearful.

Bhagavad-gītā 2.62

dhyāyato viṣayān puṁsaḥ
saṅgas teṣūpajāyate

“While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment…”

By thinking of sense objects, attachment grows, from attachment comes desire, and eventually downfall.

2) Intermediate Consciousness Not Becoming Disturbed by Situations

A person in the middle stage…

Sees situations but does not become anxious

Thinks with discrimination

Gains control through knowledge of scripture

Bhagavad-gītā 6.35

abhyāsena tu kaunteya
vairāgyeṇa ca gṛhyate

“The mind can be controlled by practice and detachment.”

Through spiritual practice and vairāgya, the mind can be restrained.

3) Higher Consciousness — Purifying and Transforming Circumstances

This is true Krishna consciousness.

A person in this stage…

Does not depend on external situations

Immediately destroys impure thoughts by remembering the Lord

Chanting the Hare Krishna mahā-mantra becomes natural

Becomes a guide for society

Even when seeing beauty, such a person thinks spiritually:

“This is not merely a body — this is the soul.”

Bhagavad-gītā 5.18

paṇḍitāḥ sama-darśinaḥ

“The truly wise see with equal vision.”

A learned person sees beyond the external body.

What Is Bhakti?

Bhakti is not mere emotion.

Bhakti is a scientific spiritual process based on scripture.

We cannot understand God directly by speculation,
but through sādhana and Krishna consciousness, we can realize Him.

Bhagavad-gītā 18.55

bhaktyā mām abhijānāti

“Only by devotional service can I be truly understood.”

Krishna is known only through bhakti.

Hare Krishna Mahā-mantra — The Scientific Process of Purifying Consciousness

Śrīla Prabhupāda explains in Light of the Bhagavata:

Different sacrifices (yajñas) are prescribed for different ages.
In this iron age of Kali, the yajña that enlightens the masses is recommended.

This process is called saṅkīrtana-yajña—

A great movement meant to revive the lost spiritual consciousness of humanity.

As soon as people take up this movement through spiritual singing, dancing, and feasting (prasādam),
they naturally become humble and honest.

The Hare Krishna mantra…

Controls lust

Calms the mind

Raises consciousness to the highest level

Bhagavad-gītā 9.14

satataṁ kīrtayanto mām

“Always chanting My glories…”

Devotees always progress by chanting the holy name.

Application in Society Today

In today’s world we see:

Addictions

Anger

Depression

Broken relationships

Why are these increasing?

Because consciousness is at a lower level.

Therefore, the solution is:

Scripture

Spiritual practice

Association of devotees

Chanting Hare Krishna

These raise consciousness.

Human beings are not all the same.

Krishna consciousness is the real solution to life.

The Hare Krishna mahā-mantra awakens our true consciousness:

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare 🙏

Article 🚨 12 Important Teachings to Remember Before Chanting the Hare Krishna Mahā Mantra

Śrīla Prabhupāda:

“Chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra.
As soon as you chant the sound— ‘Kṛṣṇa,’
immediately you come in touch with Kṛṣṇa.”

Just as if you always remain in touch with fire, you remain warm—there is no chance of becoming cold.

Similarly, somehow or other, if you remain always in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, you become purified.

— Śrīla A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda
Teachings of Lord Caitanya Lecture
Seattle, September 25, 1968

12 Teachings Before Chanting

1) Fixed Time — The Scientific Framework of Japa

“In this time, I will complete this many rounds.”

This gives the brain a clear structure.

In science, this is called:

Time-blocking

Focus conditioning

Without fixing time:

the mind becomes loose

japa becomes just a “ Robotic habit”

sincerity reduces

Bhakti means discipline.

2) Attention Lock — Nothing Except Chanting

“I must not do anything else except japa.”

This is the meditation principle given in Bhagavad-gītā:

yata yato niścarati manaś cañcalam asthiram
tatas tato niyamyaitad ātmany eva vaśaṁ nayet
— (Bhagavad-gītā 6.26)

Wherever the mind goes, bring it back again and again to the holy name.

This is real yoga.

3) Determination for Purity — Otherwise Japa Will Not Stand

“I must become completely purified.”

Śrīla Prabhupāda said:

“Chanting must be offenseless and pure.”

Without purity:

Instead of japa purifying the mind,
the mind contaminates the chanting.

Therefore determination is required.

If These Three Are Missing, What Happens?

We fall into thoughts.

Psychology calls it:

Mind wandering

Default Mode Network overactivity

Habit loop of distraction

The body chants,
but the mind travels outside.

Fixed Time = Regulation
Locked Attention = Śraddhā
Purity Decision = Saṅkalpa

With these three…

Japa is not a sound.

Japa is an awakening of the soul.

4) Without Humility, the Name Cannot Enter the Heart

Chanting is not just our effort…

It is a prayer calling Kṛṣṇa’s mercy.

The Vaiṣṇava principle says:

“tṛṇād api sunīcena…”

Without humility, the holy name cannot become steady.

Śrīla Prabhupāda said:

“Humility is the ornament of a devotee.”

5) Posture Also Helps Concentration

Kṛṣṇa even instructed bodily steadiness:

samaṁ kāya-śiro-grīvaṁ
dhārayann acalaṁ sthiraḥ
— (Bhagavad-gītā 6.13)

One should hold one’s body, neck and head erect in a straight line and stare steadily at the tip of the nose. Thus with an unagitated, subdued mind, devoid of fear, completely free from sex life, one should meditate upon Me within the heart and make Me the ultimate goal of life.

6) Less Sense Enjoyment = More Taste in Japa

If indulgence increases, chanting taste decreases.

Kṛṣṇa says:

yuktāhāra-vihārasya
yukta-ceṣṭasya karmasu
— (Bhagavad-gītā 6.17)

Balanced life = deep chanting.

7) Japa = Inner Cleansing Experiment (Scientific and Spiritual)

Science confirms:

mantra repetition calms the brain

reduces stress hormones

improves emotional regulation

Śrīla Prabhupāda said:

“Chanting cleanses the dust from the heart.”

Therefore, it is the most scientific spiritual practice.

8) Even if the Mind Wanders, Bring It Back — This Is Victory

The mind will wander.

But the devotee never gives up.

Śrīla Prabhupāda said:

“Therefore, the only method is to chant loudly and hear.
Even if the mind is elsewhere, it will be forced to focus on the sound vibration of ‘Kṛṣṇa.’
You do not need to drag the mind artificially.
The Hare Kṛṣṇa sound will automatically pull it back.”

— Śrīla Prabhupāda
Bhagavad-gītā 6.25–29 Lecture
Los Angeles, February 18, 1969

9) Without Faith (Śraddhā), the Holy Name’s Fruit Will Not Manifest

Chanting is not mechanical.

Bhagavad-gītā says:

śraddhāvān labhate jñānam
— (Bhagavad-gītā 4.39)

Where there is śraddhā,
the holy name responds.

10) Depending on Kṛṣṇa Removes Fear

Do not chant with fear.

Kṛṣṇa promises:

ananyāś cintayanto māṁ
ye janāḥ paryupāsate
teṣāṁ nityābhiyuktānāṁ
yoga-kṣemaṁ vahāmy aham
— (Bhagavad-gītā 9.22)

“I personally carry what My devotee lacks
and preserve what he has.”

This is the backbone of japa.

11) Consistency — Daily Steady Fire

Not one day high, one day low.

Bhagavad-gītā says:

satataṁ kīrtayanto māṁ
— (Bhagavad-gītā 9.14)

Chanting is a steady daily flame.

12) Final Goal — Constant Remembrance of Kṛṣṇa

The aim of japa is:

man-manā bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru
— (Bhagavad-gītā 18.65)

“Always think of Me.”

Chanting becomes life itself.
