I was not aware that any threats, harassment, or inappropriate messages were being directed at NotEvanClose. I want to make it absolutely clear that I do not support or condone that behavior in any form. Threats, harassment, or personal attacks are wrong and unacceptable.
My intention was simply to ask questions and seek clarification. It was never my goal to harm, defame, embarrass, or negatively impact anyone personally, professionally, or mentally. I understand that online discussions can escalate quickly and I did not anticipate that this would develop the way it did.
Out of respect for the situation and to prevent further escalation, I have removed my previous posts. I believe stepping back is the responsible course of action when misunderstandings occur online. I respect that creative processes and perspectives can differ and I acknowledge that disagreements can arise without malicious intent from either side.
I do not wish to speculate further or contribute to continued tension.
I encourage everyone to remain respectful, avoid assumptions and refrain from any form of harassment or hostility. Please do not contact, target, or involve anyone further regarding this matter.
There was never any intention to organize, encourage, or direct negative behavior toward anyone. I do not support that and I ask others not to engage in it.
For my part, I consider this matter closed. I will not be making further public statements about it and I ask that this situation not be escalated any further.
