German Chancellor Friedrich Merz delivered a speech at the 62nd Munich Security Conference, bluntly stating that Europe's excessive reliance on the U.S. is "self-inflicted" and calling for accelerated strategic autonomy. He pointed out that the "Make America Great Again" rhetoric has nothing to do with European interests. Merz emphasized that only through unity and cooperation can global challenges be addressed, and that America acting alone cannot achieve "greatness."#GoodPoint

LATEST on fallout from Epstein Files:
The Paris prosecutor's office on Saturday announced the creation of a special team of magistrates to examine files related to Jeffrey Epstein. The team will work with prosecutors from the national financial crimes unit and police authorities to determine whether to open investigations into suspected crimes involving French nationals, according to AFP reports.
U.S. President Trump's longtime confidant Thomas Barrack, now serving as U.S. ambassador to Turkiye and special envoy to Syria, was in regular, close contact with Jeffrey Epstein for years after Epstein's 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor, CBS News reported citing newly released Justice Department documents.

In Wudi county, Binzhou city, east China's Shandong Province, a marriage registration office is more than a place to sign papers. It is where the red thread of fate, which, according to Chinese folk tales, connects the couple from birth, weaves local growth.
By upgrading wedding related services, the county has helped spark a marriage services industry worth over 4 billion yuan a year. With the newly minted sector as a driving force, Wudi is integrating urban development, rural revitalization, culture and tourism into practical livelihood projects that people can truly see and feel.
A new hotspot has emerged in the Qilu Marriage Customs Cultural Museum. Through immersive interactive experiences, it brings to life northern Shandong's wedding traditions and flavors. Workshops add a fresh twist to time-honored customs, helping more visitors embrace family values and a modern wedding culture. The ripple effect is also boosting wellness stays and spending.

Major railway stations and airports have introduced AI-powered X-ray systems, intelligent metal detection gates, upgraded leg scanners and A3-level millimeter-wave body scanners.
Some equipment can identify prohibited items in seconds, while advanced body scanners complete screening in just three seconds, helping passengers move through checkpoints faster without compromising safety.
Would you like to see this kind of smart security technology at airports or train stations in your country?
