Hey there, I'm Kayla! I love all things quilting; from fabric shopping to piecing quilts to longarming. All of it is my favorite!
Grab your favorite cup of coffee and let's get quilting.
I have been quilting for 10+ years, with many, many years watching my mother quilt before that. I am mostly self-taught, I have no 'professional' training. Just hours and hours of research and lots of trial and error. My goal is to make quilting more accessible to those who are interested but not ready to jump in. I swear it's not as hard as you think! It doesn't have to be an expensive hobby either!

I can’t believe it… my quilts are going to Paducah! 🤯🎉
Two of my quilts have been accepted into AQS QuiltWeek in Paducah, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it! This is THE show, and I’m beyond honored (and honestly a little shocked) to have my work hanging alongside so many incredible quilts.
Huge thanks to everyone who has cheered me on—your support means the world!
Now, if you need me, I’ll be pinching myself and double-checking that this isn’t just a fever dream from too much time spent buried in fabric.

90 hours in, and this beauty is still a work in progress! Creating this collage quilt has been a journey of patience, creativity, and countless tiny fabric pieces. Every detail—from her flowing hair to the soft contours of her face—has been carefully crafted to bring her to life.
It's amazing to see how these subtle, neutral tones work together to tell a story. This project has truly pushed my artistic boundaries, and I’m so excited to see it come together, piece by piece.
Would you tackle a project like this? Or do you prefer smaller quilts? Let me know what you think in the comments—your encouragement keeps me going! #collagequilt #quiltingismytherapy

What size quilt do you prefer to make and why?
I prefer Throw size because I can make them faster and we use them more often.
