I was so impressed by the results of Wednesday’s poll—it seems we are all on a mission to find the perfect Realistic Faux Florals and Vintage-inspired Planters this season! 🌸🏺
Since so many of you (42%!) are hunting for florals, I wanted to share a professional tip from the archives in the attached video. When I’m finding stems for the home, I always ask: 'Does this look like I just clipped it from the garden?' It's all about that natural texture and color.
What’s the one flower you find the hardest to find a realistic version of? I’d love to know!"

Good morning! 🌿 I've been thinking about why this little boxwood rabbit felt like such a 'must-have' for a spring garden. For me, it’s all about adding that instant European garden character that makes a space feel established and intentional, rather than just decorated.
If you’re looking to find pieces that blend seamlessly with your vintage treasures this year, I shared my specific 'buy vs. skip' criteria in Saturday’s video. I’m showing you exactly how to spot the hidden gems (and which red flags to avoid!) so you can style a timeless look you’ll love for years.

I spotted this little boxwood rabbit this week while I was out finding some Spring inspiration, and it immediately took me back to one of my favorite projects from last year. 🐇💐
It made me think of the pair I styled in the garden urns! It’s a great reminder that you can always find ways to bring that classic, 'elevated' garden feeling indoors, regardless of the season.
I’ve had a few of you ask about the 'whole story' behind those garden urns and how I styled them to look so established. If you missed that journey or want to see the professional tips I used to get that look, you can find the full transformation here: https://youtu.be/JPn32CgYh2A
It’s still one of my favorite examples of how a few found pieces can completely transform a space. Wishing you a wonderful Friday! 🙂💕

There is something so peaceful about a small vessel filled with the morning's walk through the garden. I found this little watering can and knew it belonged nestled among the greenery. It’s one of those hand-picked finds that makes a space feel like a sanctuary. I’ve added it to the MHG boutique if you are looking to tuck a little garden magic into your own home: michelleshomeandgarden.com/products/mccoy-pottery-…

Which do you prefer in an entryway: a single large statement piece, or a more collected gallery feel? My secret for narrow spaces is finding pieces of varying heights. It draws the eye up and makes a tight entry feel intentional, not crowded. 🌿 The makeover: https://youtu.be/hd4wFVCDS1Q

We’ve officially reached Groundhog Day weekend! Whether you’re a winter lover or counting down to the first buds in the garden, there’s something special about this turn in the season.☃️🪴
I’m celebrating by finding ways to elevate the house with a nod to Valentine's Day. 💕
You might recognize this replica 1877 French love letter from my bedroom makeover last year; I’ve decided to move it to the entryway to bring in that deep crimson color as a soft nod to the season.
It’s amazing how re-imagining a vintage find can transform the feel of a room.
✨Are you adding any new layers to your home this weekend, or are you still enjoying the quiet of the winter greens? 🌲

Do you know what these glass tabletop 'greenhouses' were originally called when they were used to transport exotic plants across the ocean in the 1800s?🪴
A. Wardian Cases B.Crystal Cabinets C.Botanical Boxes D.Petite Orangeries
(Drop your letter guess in the comments👇 I will post the answer in the comments later today.😉)
I’ve always loved the garden style that a glass terrarium or tabletop greenhouse brings to a room—it’s like having a miniature sanctuary in your space.🙂💐

4 Ways to Style Your Glass Sanctuary

The Romantic Glow: Place varying heights of LED candles on a bed of preserved moss or a couple of vintage books. The glass reflects the flicker, creating a warm transformative mood for winter evenings.

The Hidden Nest: Tuck a small bird and nest inside with a sprig of dried lavender.

The Miniature Estate: Place a small aged urn planter in the middle with a faux topiary ,trailing plant, or paperwhite bulb.

The Collected Curios: style a found object vignette inside with a vintage brass key, a small garden decor item, a book for the bottom layer, and a single air plant or faux succulent.
