Happy 2023 friends! We are walking into this New Year with a cute little interview with our boys! We hope to share more about adoption, our faith and fun moments in this new year! We are currently working on a couple adoption videos (3 year update, Q&A) and also lots of faith related topics for this channel. 🤗《long post》Hello! HOW ARE YOU? We have been doing well. Living life. 🤗 Many of you have asked where we've been...to be honest....

I needed a break.
In the midst of ALL that's been going on, the Lord made it clear to me I needed to withdraw from social media. I needed to silence all the noise and be still before the Lord; to look to Jesus; to rest in Him; to run to Him in fervent prayer. Only He can give wisdom. Only He can give discernment. Only He can change hearts to align with His.

🎆 This year, 2020, has indeed been a year of clarity for me, and I hope for many of us. I see more clearly the pains and suffering of this life; I see the orphans, the widows, the fatherless, the homeless, the hopeless, and the systemic racism that is so deeply ingrained in us that we don't even notice a lot of the times......I know that we will never be able to completely eradicate any of these issues in this life, but we can be so much more intentional and aware of the injustices and brokenness in this world. We can thank the Lord for opening our eyes a little more. 🙌 We now can, hopefully, walk with a little more clarity alongside those who are suffering and hurting...with compassion, empathy, prayers, listening ears, and support.

⚠️Satan exists: to steal, kill and destroy; to cause division and chaos; to bring about disorder....SIN exists in this life. However, as a people, we can rise above the chaos, the division and the noise of what's not true... Looking to the author and perfector of our faith...JESUS.

The answer I come to over and over again is that....🙏There is no other answer outside of Jesus.✝️ He is the way, the truth and life. In Him I find peace; In Him I find comfort; In Him I find security; In Him I find all that I need.

🤪 I've been quite busy with these littles the past almost 2 weeks, on top of living life JOYFULLY in the midst of unknown circumstances. All I know is My JOY will not be stolen regardless of my life circumstances....I am standing on solid ground!! ❤ .

🙌It has been a free-ing few weeks living in the truths of the gospel; being rescued from anxieties of death and this life! 📷 Hoping to have a "day in my life" vlog up sometime tomorrow that speaks a little more into what's been going on. Until then, may the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding be with you all! 🥰

⚠️I am currently editing "Ezra's one month update." It will be up hopefully by tomorrow; I've come across some software issues, and so it has taken me longer than usual. However, even with software complications, and not being able to upload it sooner (like I was initially planning), I'm thankful to be able to have these little inconveniences still. 🥰

🙏We have been quarantining as best we can, and embracing this season with gratitude. Hope you guys are too! 🙌

Glimpses of Grace

Our 2 week post adoption update is finally up!
The Lord has been so gracious to us in these past weeks of bonding as a family of 5. However, not all of life is filled with only rainbows and butterflies. There will be storms that we will have to go through as well....

Peter and I have had some major extended family circumstances that has really stretched us these past 4 weeks. It has been heart-wrenching, sad, and anxious at times. However, we are CHOOSING to believe that the Lord will work all things together for good. We are CHOOSING to live intentionally with gratitude, joy and peace. Life is just too short to not cherish TODAY. As it is said in James 4, "Life is but a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes..." So let us not waste a second of our day with worry, self-doubt, self-pity, anxiety; what our future may hold for us.....

Rather let us enjoy the little moments of grace God has given us even in the midst of pain and suffering.

May the God of Grace, Peace and Comfort be with you all today.

P.S. I apologize for this melancholy post, but I pray that it will hopefully give you a real glimpse into our lives; that we struggle and fight for joy day in and day out also. You are not alone if you are walking through a season of suffering.

🥰Some of our first moments together as a family of 5, involved unwrapping gifts from our wonderful friends and family!🙌 All of these were awaiting Ezra's arrival.🙃 What a blessing it is for us to be on the receiving end of all of this.🙌😭😊
