Hi everyone! Unfortunately, there won't be a video today. A lot going on here this past week or two...😅 I plan to see you all next week though! And I wanted to share my plans for an upcoming bathroom makeover with you in the meantime and see what you thought! I'm so excited to get rid of the LAST room in our home with vinyl flooring, which is our daughter's bath/guest bath upstairs. Just wait til you see the "before" footage--OH MY. I think you'll agree something needed to be done. So, out with the old (vanity, flooring, large builder-grade mirror, and so much more) and in with fresh! The work just started yesterday...complete with a pipe busting!

As you can see, my goal is a calming space that reads as transitionally charming, clean, and fresh. Hopefully we'll hit that goal! It will likely be March before I have the last touches in hand and the video ready for you, but it's in the works. And next week I shall return with HOPEFULLY some good thrift finds to share with you! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Hello friends! Black Friday seemed like the perfect time to share the kids Christmas gift I can't stop recommending to my friends in real life!! We gave our daughter a Yoto audiobook player last Christmas and she loves it so much! This thing is so simple, it's ingenious. It is an audiobook player where the books are on cards about the size of a credit card. Kids simply pop the card into the top of the player to play the story or book! There are hundreds and hundreds of cards you can collect with stories for the smallest toddlers like Peppa Pig or Daniel Tiger all the way up to books for older kids like Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, or classics like Charlotte's Web and Jungle Book...you name it! There is a "mini" version and a larger version as you can see from my image attached. Either works and they both do the same thing. I recommend either one (we have both). You can also get kid-friendly headphones so they can listen quietly. SOO good for car trips. But once downloaded the audio is also on an app on parent's phone so you can play it anytime from there as well, even without the player. Hi friends! May has been a doozy for me. Some beautiful moments--a lot more than shown actually. But also some really hard realities going on around here. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my latest reel talking about what's going on: www.instagram.com/p/DKIevOat2cF/
But basically my mom went in for an emergency surgery at the end of April and never bounced back. A month later and she's back home but now in hospice care with only days left. So when I turned to IG thinking it's been a while and I needed to post something, I could've just posted all the highlights like usual, or I could take this time to be vulnerable and send out a little reminder that people on here are real. It's a good reminder (to myself too) to always be kind. You never know who's living through a lowlight. That snarky comment we just "need" to drop, or the negative opinion we "just have to say to be honest" with someone online might actually be a kick when someone's already down. As the old saying goes, "being kind don't cost a penny." But yet it can be priceless to those who need it. Here's to a bright June to everyone out there reading this; I hope it is full of highlights! 🥰☀️🌻

Hi everyone, it's Tasha. Happy Saturday! I'm excited to say I have finally chosen a new FLOORING for our home and I am so excited to share it with you!
