I wanted to do this for YEARS! To create a collection of characters inspired by my garden and the natural world 😊

At the end of 2025, I heard an inner voice say: "It is time".

Time to step into my creative power and passion.

Time to lead our community at the Happy Creators Collective to THEIR passion and prosperity.

So we have officially begun work on our "Passion Projects" in 2026.

We'll design characters, products, and open a shop by the end of the year!!! Stay tuned 🥳

Just as a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step, so does a "Year Project". We begin with visual research, sketching, and character explorations.

Oh the feeling of “holding your art in your hands”…

We designed this fabric at the Happy Creators Collective as part of our October project.

Then I ordered a few meters of it to sew it into kitchen towels as gifts.

It was a sweet and surreal moment to hold this fabric in my hands… after all the hours of drawing, finding a supplier, and waiting for it to arrive. It was a truly special moment ❤️

On the front, it's a classic Nintendo mushroom in a worn battle-tested style (it's from a tutorial we did at the Happy Creators Collective in November 😊).

And on the back, there is Japanese text that says "Play". So cool!
