I honestly can’t understand how Jerry Heil with “CATHARTICUS” was not selected for Eurovision 2026. It was the only entry that truly had strong potential at Eurovision itself, not just at the national selection.

It's not clear what kind of jury this was, where they got them from to give such scores. It also strongly feels like the organizers of the selection simply did not want to see Jerry Heil represent Ukraine for a second time.

In May, we will most likely be able to fall asleep during Ukraine’s performance. A long high note alone will not save the situation if the song itself is boring especially when you listen to it several times. Unfortunately, this has become a pattern: instead of sending powerful and memorable songs, Ukraine often ends up sending something completely dull. Clear examples of this are 2022, 2023 and 2025.

P.S: Since 2022, televoting for Ukraine cannot be considered fully fair or objective. Due to the large number of Ukrainian refugees across Europe, many Ukrainian citizens are able to vote for their own country using the televoting systems of other participating countries. While this is understandable from a human perspective, it creates an unequal situation and is unfair to other competing countries.

SCANDAL AT THE UKRAINIAN NATIONAL SELECTION 2026!

What do you think about the behavior of Ruslana - the winner of Eurovision 2004 and a member of the jury of the national selection 2026 - calling for a vote for a specific finalist before the start of voting is unacceptable?
No member of the jury can make such agitation before the audience vote. The jury is called to give their opinion from a professional point of view and score each participant, and not to make such agitations to vote for their favorite! This is a total violation of the rules of Eurovision!
A jury member cannot publicly devalue the work of other finalists by calling for a vote for LELÉKA! Which makes the audience vote ahead of time!
