Hi, I’m Lígia. I’m not here as a finished product or someone with all the answers—I’m someone walking this path alongside you. This space was born from my own healing, from breaking cycles, questioning old patterns, and remembering who I truly am underneath it all.
I created The Gentle Rebellion for those who feel there’s more to life than what we’ve been taught. If you’ve felt stuck, lost, or afraid to show up as your whole self—you are not alone.
Here, we explore identity, intuition, healing, and the freedom that comes from living in alignment with your soul. You’ll find reflections, practices, and truths from my own journey—and hopefully, something that lights a spark in yours.
This isn’t about becoming someone else.

My camera wasn’t able to capture the beauty of this moment but at sunset today I walked into my bedroom to this wonderful view, the colours are mesmerising and remind me of the beauty that we all get to experience every day but seems so common place.
We ask the Universe to see wonders and miracles and here, Nature delivers them every single day!

The eclipse was such an amazing experience, even if from here (the Netherlands) we could only see it partially, the energies were unmistakably felt and as the month of September already has shown us, many has come to the surface asking to be seen, allowed and finally let go of.
End of cycles, new beginnings and intense energies.

Freedom is YOURS!
It's who you are,
It's what you choose,
What you do when you decide to grab this beautiful chance to experience YOUR life.
Nothing in this world can stop you, nothing can take your freedom away from you as long as you decide that this is your life to live, your creation and that you will make of this the best story you can.
Yes, obstacles will present themselves.
There will be times you'll need to sit with yourself and meditate in what you truly want, who you choose to be or the way you choose to deal with whatever the Universe as put in your way.
BUT,
these are the moments of most freedom!
When you allow it to be, allow yourself to experience the emotions, the feelings that emerge... Allow it all to be and then transform yourself, transform the world around you with the power of your Heart!
Obstacles are to show us we have choices and once we allow ourselves to be vulnerable to face them, my oh my we experience the Truth, we experience our Power and we finally turn in and pour Pure Love into Us.
My friend, be kind to yourself, don't let fear cloud your vision from your true POWER.
