🚨 SPOILER - This is what was behind the Fallout TV countdown 🚨


Reddit user u/clintgh shared screenshots showing what was hidden behind the metadata countdown on the Amazon Prime Fallout TV show page.

While many of us were praying to Cthulhu for a Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas remaster… it turns out the reveal is simply a “Penthouse Icon.”

This is most likely tied to a virtual 3D look around the New Vegas Strip, including Mr. House’s penthouse, and could act as a teaser for where the Fallout TV show is heading next.

We do know that a Fallout 3 remaster still exists internally, so it’s probably only a matter of time. If it’s being handled by the same studio as the Oblivion remaster, a 2-year gap between releases would make sense.

Unfortunately, it now seems very unlikely that a Fallout 3 remaster will be directly tied to the TV show’s release.

That said, if a Fallout 3 remaster were to drop next year and the show visits the Capital Wasteland, it would be the perfect opportunity for Bethesda to capitalise on the show’s popularity with a surprise remaster launch.

Will we see the remaster for Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas at tomorrow’s Xbox Direct?

Probably NOT... While leaked court documents did reveal that a Fallout 3 remaster was planned after Oblivion Remastered, recent reporting from reliable insiders (including Jez Corden and Windows Central) says these projects, especially Fallout 3 exist but are not imminent.

The old leaked court documents showed a 2-year gap between Oblivion and Fallout 3 remasters, but who knows Bethesda may have upped the pace following the success of the Fallout TV show.

In the meantime I'll be preying for Fallout 3 to be shadow dropped with the final episode of the Fallout TV show on February 4th.

I believe the Fallout 3 Remaster will release on February 4th with the final episode of the Fallout TV show.

The Fallout 3 remaster will probably be shadow dropped in a similar fashion to Oblivion Remastered. We already know the game exists since the legal document leak, so it's only a matter of time, but this timescale would make sense.

We managed to get Todd Howard… but still no Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 5.

On the bright side, Skyrim Anniversary Edition did release on Switch, so clearly the prophecy is on track for 2028..
