Hi all! Hope you're well and good - wanted to quickly update on channel and video plans for the next few weeks, then the foreseeable future, whether you are an Overwatch Lore, Marvel Rivals or general gaming/lore/channel enjoyer :)

For you Overwatch Lore fans - Freja Lore and other content is on the way! Appreciate I've not actually uploaded Overwatch in a good few months, so wouldn't blame you for wondering what's going on. Day-job work and personal responsibilities have been very busy (and will continue to be so, one way or another), so my last few uploads have been around things I had the time and energy to jump in on. TLDR - there is Overwatch Lore coming soon, and then it'll be more regular going forward.

I've had a few scripts for Marvel/ Marvel Rivals topics I've wanted to try creating lore vids around for a while (The Hellfire Gala, Krakoa Lore, and other rumoured additions to the game), so expect to see those finally show up over the coming weeks!

After that - we will see. Expect to see more community posts here as I bounce around some ideas. I've long had the desire to expand beyond Overwatch Lore and cover many different kinds of gaming lore here or perhaps on a different channel or in a different format, and also perhaps get into some review and preview of games I enjoy / video essays too.

Between this channel and 'Hammeh Plays' (my second channel), it might be that I have more time to give all the above more focus soon, should things calm somewhat. No promises, but let me know what you'd enjoy seeing from me (and what content you've enjoyed and haven't here!) in the comments :)

Hi everyone, hope you're all well and good! Firstly - brand new Overwatch Lore videos upcoming soon (as reassurance), even though my upload the other day was VALORANT for the first time in 3 months. Plans and news below!

It's been a hot minute (or longer) since posting here in community, and indeed since last upload! Things have been very busy on the work side of things (day job stuff) - however, as a contract I work comes to an end soon, I'm thinking tentatively of increasing the amount of content I make again slowly - seeing where it goes.

Maybe this could become more full-time content creation again, but will see. It needs to work both for me and for y'all watching (and thanks for your support, whether you've been here 5 minutes or 5 years!).

We've been here before of course (anyone remember pilot week of many years ago, where i wanted to try 5 different lore video topics in a week? :D).

As a result, don't want to overpromise. Will slowly start off with Overwatch 2: Heroes Ascendant Short Story Analysis and Lore, and then see how we go from there...polls incoming soon. If you have particular games you'd like to see me take a shot at lore or other content of, topics, or types of video you'd like to see me try, let me know in the comments below.

I have many ideas, but will save that for another post!

Happy 2023 everyone! Hope you've had a relaxing holiday season, whatever you've been up to :)

Wanted to say a BIG thanks for all your support, whether you've joined recently with Overwatch 2's launch, or been here since before the launch of Overwatch back in 2016! We've hit our first ever 1 million view video - never dreamed of it when I started making StarCraft 2 videos for fun over 7 years ago!

After working on sorting some IRL bits and recovering from a busy year, I'm now winding up for more Overwatch content in the weeks and months ahead. There'll be LOADS of that, but, I have another quick question for you!

Would you like to see other games lore content from me? If so, would you rather see it here, or on another channel?

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been quiet - a quick update and a question on today's video for you!

It's been a busy few months outside the world of YouTube - so, combined with Overwatch Lore being quiet until recently and during pandemic self-care, honestly I've not kicked on a bit with the new/expansion videos I've been talking about here for..well, at least over a year to two years! My apologies for that to start with. It's been really nice to kick on with some Overwatch Halloween and comic stuff this week, and I'm feeling a lot more in the zone again :)

Question for today's video! When analysing Overwatch (or lore), I often recap the source material in a quick story summary. Comic videos, animated shorts, short stories...a little summary of the contents, before diving into the analysis.

This often makes a video anything from 2-5 minutes longer, even if it's a brief synopsis. My Tracer Comic #2 video today is 20 minutes long, but could cut that a chunk with removing the story summary.

Do you need/want this summary in lore analysis videos from source material? Or, have you generally read or watched it already, and don't really need a story summary?

I'm trying to find the balance between a nice "non-rambly/coherent and nicely formed video", and not losing people with what I'm talking about.

Hey everyone,

Hope you and yours are all well, safe and healthy as can be in these strange times!

Quick hello here, with a little update on video plans for the next few weeks, along with a giveaway, too, to say thanks for your patience and for supporting me here :)

You may have seen my channel update on "Pilot Month" - after a bit too long, I'll have some new videos popping up for the next week or two on the channel, mixed in with new Overwatch videos. It's a test/pilot period where we can see what we enjoy and what we don't, from Blizzard lore, video games lore, and stories outside the world of Overwatch too - so, please do give them a go, or let me know what you'd like to see me turn my hand to if these aren't your cup of tea :) After a week or two, I'll round up all our chats and your thoughts and we'll see what makes the cut, and what doesn't!

**OVERWATCH 2 Lineup - POST RECALL!** (Ignore this post if you don't want a spoiler!))

So much flying around about Overwatch 2 in the last few days! Here's an image of some art from the Blizzcon "Blink" Store page (via /r/Overwatch) that has been removed since.

Overwatch lineup 2.0? Echo in the background? It all makes sense Overwatch Lore wise given the Recall and animated shorts!

I'll review this and talk all the lore of the leaks soon - can't wait for Blizzcon to see what else is going on with Overwatch 2!!

Hey everyone, hope you're all well and good firstly.

Just wanted to drop a short note to say sorry for the quiet (and delays in new/pilot videos) the last few months.

After being re-admitted to hospital a few months back, Mum decided to stop taking her cancer medication, and passed away peacefully a few weeks ago. It's been a tough and tiring time for family and loved ones, so we've needed some time for all sorts of things and to recuperate, as I'm sure you can understand.

Sorry I've gone quiet here for longer stretches a few times - it's one of those things that is quite personal, yet if you go quiet online, you'll have people worrying about your well-being, in a nice way. So - don't want anyone to worry!

I very much still want to and will be creating videos, and am hoping to get uploading a bit more regularly again from this week.

G'day all! Wanted to give you a quick heads-up on video plans for the next week or two. As I get back up to speed with some more Overwatch videos in the coming weeks (including some new experiments/things!), there will be a few non-Overwatch lore and story experimental videos too. Overwatch isn't going anywhere on this channel, so no need to adjust your settings (or to unsub ;)).

If you've kindly watched my videos or been subbed for a good while, you'll know that I've wanted to expand how I explore the world of Overwatch and Blizzard gaming lore and stories for..well, years now. Alongside that, stories and lore of other games, series, and created worlds (be it TV, books, or more) have given me many ideas of video I'd love to make and share. It's finally time to give some of this a go - after a long time of planning (and some delays) - the "Pilot Week" or two I've wanted to run for a while will be coming soon!

There will be a few new Overwatch "formats" of video in the coming weeks, the return of some channel favourites, and some new "not Overwatch" lore and story video experiments too. If the "not Overwatch" ones are not of interest to you, rest assured that it'll be for a short time, and you don't have to watch them (although it'd be great if you can give them a go and let me know what you think!).



We've talked a few times here on the community tab and in video comments about whether these pilots should go on my second channel, or stay here. After spending way too long considering this, I've decided to try them here, and give you this heads-up so you're hopefully not surprised or bamboozled by them.


These videos will be lore/storytelling and exploring in focus, around things I very much enjoy and would like to share with you. I've made/am making a few to start with based off the many games and fictional worlds of all kinds you've mentioned in the past you'd like me to try make videos around. I would love to try more, but we have to start somewhere - so, anything you're enjoying or would love to see lore around, feel free to comment and let me know :) Whether they'll end up continuing, on this channel or elsewhere, we can see as we go.

Thanks for the patience as I've been quiet - looking forward to sharing some new things, and hearing your thoughts and criticisms on the pilot vids. Do take a look over the next few weeks, and let me know what you think, what you like and think works and what you think could be done differently/better. All helps me make better videos!

Hey everyone, happy E3 Weekend! A quick question for you, if you'd be so kind :)

Every year for the last few years, I've shared some news updates/opinions/story and lore thoughts on various non-Overwatch and Blizzard games from E3 that I've been excited about. This year will be no exception, but I'm trying to work out where/how to do so.

As I've been relatively quiet on videos this year so far (planning to be a bit more regular soon, finally!), I don't want to be spamming people / giving people content they don't want or didn't sub for, or causing people to unsub too much. There's a lot of exciting stuff coming up at E3 and in the year ahead - The Outer Worlds, Cyberpunk 2077, the newly leaked G.R.R Martin/FROM Software project, Baldur's Gate 3...

So - with that in mind, if I decide to talk about non-Overwatch games at E3 (lore, news) and beyond, how and where would you like to see that kind of thing, if anywhere or at all?

Love to hear your thoughts - do vote or comment away! I'll read all replies, and most likely answer after the weekend.

Hey everyone, hope you're well and good, firstly!

Just wanted to say sorry on and to quickly explain the quiet/lack of vids recently.

I may do an update vid in the next week or so, but long story short, have had some bad news on health of a family member and have needed to support that situation, whilst looking after loved ones and myself during a very busy March.

I am working on some new videos, both the Overwatch videos you enjoy here and otherwise. Look forward to sharing them with you all and getting videos going here at least once a week soon. There will finally be some new things on this channel, and my second channel too.


I have many ideas and videos I'd like to share with you, and have been talking about doing this more often for a long time, now! So, this will hopefully be time for much of the long-promised new content here on the channel, as well as a bit of an evolution..


The plan is to add new things I hope you'll enjoy, whilst continuing to talk about Overwatch Lore as and when we receive interactions, voice-lines and canon to debate, discuss and pick apart. As always, let me know what you enjoy and what doesn't work for you, what you think works and what you think could be improved. If there is any Blizzard Lore, gaming lore, or even any stories, worlds and lore beyond games you'd be interested in seeing me (and perhaps the Mystery Guest Voice!) explore...do let me know in the comments, along with any other questions you may have.
