Today we begin the sacred season of Lent — a time for prayer, fasting, repentance, and spiritual renewal as we prepare our hearts for Easter.
As we receive ashes, we are reminded of our human weakness and our need for God’s mercy and grace. Lent invites us to turn away from sin, grow closer to God, and live the Gospel more fully each day.
Let us walk this Lenten journey with faith, humility, and hope. May this season renew our hearts and strengthen our love for God and one another.
FEAST OF THE PRESENTATION OF THE LORD – FEBRUARY 2
Today our church celebrates the day Mary and Joseph brought the Child Jesus to the Temple, offering Him to the Father according to the Law.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, Light of the world, as You were presented in the Temple, present my heart to the Father today. Purify me, guide me, and let Your light shine through me so I may bring hope to others. Amen.
The Epiphany celebrates the revelation of Jesus Christ to all nations. Guided by the star, the Magi found the Savior and worshiped Him, proclaiming that Christ is the Light for the whole world.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Light of all nations,
guide us to You as You guided the Magi.
May our hearts always seek You,
worship You faithfully,
and reflect Your light to others.
Amen.
Today our church celebrates the Feast of the Most HOLY NAME OF JESUS
The Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus is historically associated with the Feast of the Circumcision of Jesus. According to Jewish law, on the 8th day after his birth, a male child was circumcised and received his name, thus becoming a full member of God's covenant people.
The name 'Jesus' means 'God Saves' and is the name that St. Joseph was instructed by an angel to name the Divine Child, the sacred name before which "every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Phil. 2:10-11).
Today our church celebrates the feast day of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph, but also every family's feast day, since the Holy Family is the patron and model of all Christian families. Happy Feast Day!
Today, we rejoice in the greatest gift ever given to humanity — the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In the quiet town of Bethlehem, hope was born, love took flesh, and light entered a world waiting for redemption. This holy season reminds us to pause, reflect, and open our hearts to compassion, humility, forgiveness, and faith.
May the joy of Christmas fill your homes with peace, your hearts with gratitude, and your lives with God’s abundant grace. Let us carry the message of Christ’s love beyond today — through our words, actions, and service to one another. As we celebrate the Nativity, may our families be strengthened, our faith renewed, and our spirits uplifted by His everlasting presence.
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” – Luke 2:11 ✨

On the #Fourth and Last Sunday of Advent, we light the #Candle of #Love - Welcoming Emmanuel
The Fourth Sunday of Advent stands at the threshold of Christmas. The waiting is almost complete. The candles of the Advent wreath burn brightly, and with the lighting of all the candles, the Church proclaims a profound truth: Emmanuel—God with us—is near.
This final Sunday of Advent turns our attention fully toward Jesus Christ, the fulfillment of God’s promise. He is not merely a figure of history or a distant hope. He is Emmanuel, the living presence of God among His people
