wow i think i have covert NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder). I've done bits of research on it over a few months but tonight I really looked into it, read the symptoms, how other people experience the disorder, and how people w/o the disorder are affected by it and what the freakity frack yall. thats me.

I need people to understand that saying "Jesus loves you" to random people is still forcing it onto them (just in a lighter way) and it can be way more harmful than it seems. religious trauma is very common especially among queer people and hearing "Jesus loves you" can send people with that trauma into a spiral. also, it comes off as very icky when you say it in response to someone struggling. one of the last things I want to hear when I talk about my problems is "Jesus loves you." no he doesnt, he isnt real. he may be real to you, but he isnt to me. so to me, he does not love me and its not comforting at all.
