My favorite thing we learned about Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire this week was that she was so bold with her fashion sense that Georgiana would wear a locket around her neck, like a cat collar, that said something like “If found lost, return to the Duke of Devonshire.” don't know why I found that so charming. She was a funny, lively, kind woman, and you should watch the video about her!

Truly my favorite subject we've done in a while - let's go over the ocean for this week's subject, to pre-colonial Mexico. Moctezuma's Aztec Empire was toppled when Hernan Cortes arrived. The story is truly wild, we talked constantly as we were editing it that we can't believe people lived through such an insanely historic time in history. https://youtu.be/cvErafs-BVk

The video we referred to at home this week as the "definitive edition" and the "avengers" of our videos is now live! Research and reconstructions of all six wives and Henry VIII have finally been completed, something that was years in the making for our channel. We've compiled it into one mega all-encompassing video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDmtf...

We get a lot of questions about our reveal music and where to find it so I thought I'd made a Spotify playlist: open.spotify.com/playlist/4iH3EiJsGCgF29vIXrLsRC?s…. It doesn't include every reveal but just the ones I could think of and find :) Enjoy

I promised one commenter that I would post this and it's included in the video just posted today. This is a comparison of purported images of George Boleyn, Mary Boleyn, and my re-creation from the Lumley portrait side by side. Now, take with a grain of salt since both portraits are unverified. BUT with that said, I do really think they all look like they could be siblings? Which to me lends credence to them. Anyone agree?

This week's portrait mystery was such an interesting one! Was Anne Boleyn really a redhead? 🔥It's very possible. A lost portrait once hung in her childhood home may hold the key to her true face. Could this finally be the real Anne Boleyn?
