East Bengal is set to play their first match of the season on Monday 16 February and today is already Wednesday — 11th February and still there has been no information about match tickets and redemption or even confirmation on the match venue!

Just 4 days in between remains!

East Bengal FC management can talk about below par attendance over the past few seasons but what they don't say is—

- Max matches on weekdays
- No ticket sale outlets across the city at various offline locations
- No online redemption on matchday or redemption counters too far!
- No matchday offline ticket counters near the venue.
- No tie-ups like it used to be previously with stores across the city & suburbs for offline sales.
- No facilities for office goers to keep baggage at a safe location.
- Drinking water facility issue has been constant at YBK!

...and many more problems that the fans face yet they fill up the stands each matchday just because they love the club so much. In a country where fan experience in IPL has gone to a different level, football fans don't ask that much but at least the basic facilities and some ease to buy and collect the tickets so that they can come to the stadium to support their beloved club!

An earnest request to the @eastbengalfootballclub management to have a look into this.
