It's the end of another year, and so I thought I'd share my top 5 moments/experiences of this past year. Honorable mention: Going to my first All Elite Wrestling show and getting to meet one of my favourite wrestling YouTubers, Christian Maracle.
5: Visiting the Canadian National Exhibition. Normally, this wouldn't make a top 5 list but what made it special was the fact that I went with my friend Steve, who I normally don't see much outside of most Thursdays when we play Yu-Gi-Oh, and it was a lot of fun spending the day with him.
4&3: (Images below) Visiting the Niagara Falls Comic Con and Toronto Fan Expo and meeting some of my favourite voice actors, such as Brittney Karbowski (2nd image) and Rob Paulsen (Yakko from Animaniacs, 4th image). Those two were some of the actors I've been wanting to meet for a long time, so definitely a highlight of my year.
2: Finally getting to see Billy Ocean Live in concert at the Fallsview casino in Niagara Falls. He's been one of my favourite music artists since I was a young child, so I wasn't about to pass up a chance to see him live.
1: Seeing Swollen Members live at Lee's Palace in downtown Toronto. What just edged it out was getting to take a shot of tequila with one of the Members. The show was awesome as well, of course.
So, all in all, a really good year for me. What about any of you? Good? Bad? Meh? Let me know and have a great 2025!
