My goal has always been to raise awareness about people with disabilities and to break the prejudices that once existed — simply by living my truth.

Dolac Market, Zagreb 60x80cm

Dolac Market is one of Zagreb’s most iconic and vibrant open-air markets, located just a few steps from Ban Jelačić Square in the heart of the city. Since its opening in 1930, it has been a beloved gathering place where farmers, artisans, and locals meet to share fresh produce, regional specialties, and the everyday rhythm of Zagreb life.

Recognizable by its sea of red umbrellas, Dolac is filled with the colors, textures, and flavors of Croatia — from seasonal fruits and vegetables, homemade cheeses and honey, to freshly baked pastries and fish delivered each morning from the Adriatic coast.

We have always visited this market every time we came to Zagreb, and its warm energy, vivid colors, and authentic atmosphere have deeply inspired us. These impressions became the foundation for this artwork.

This piece will be exhibited in Zagreb on December 17th. 🙏🏻
