Aliens: Colonial Marines Review:
2/10 ๐Ÿ˜
โŒ

Oh my gosh, this game is absolute trash. I'm sorry, man, I really tried to like it. I LOVE the Alien franchise, but I have no idea what happened here. But I guess it's my own fault, I played Isolation first which is one of the best horror games ever (imo), but this game is literally 0% scary and full of weird action sequences and the story is kind of all over the place. I didn't play long, though, I couldn't bring myself to put more time into this. GarBaaage. A "terrifying" 2/10. ๐Ÿ˜

A Way Out Review:
8/10
โœ…

Finished A Way Out last year with my co-op partner, and damn, what a ride. It was one of our first real bonding sessions in gaming (we went on to play It Takes Two, Resident Evil 5 and 6, etc), and we somehow pulled off insane teamwork from start to finish. At the same time, we had this low-key rivalry going that made everything way more fun. Every mini-game turned into a championship match, and we were trash-talking while still trying to pull each other through the tougher sections.

The story is tight and surprisingly emotional. No spoilers, but the way it pulls both players in and makes the experience feel personal is wild. We were genuinely in our feels by the end. One of those rare games where you sit in silence for a little while, while the credits are rolling.

I told my cousins (theyโ€™re brothers and are very close) to play it, and they finished it last weekend. Watching their reactions at the end just confirmed it for me; this game hits hard and sticks with you. They left my home depressed. ๐Ÿ˜‚

If you want a co-op game that actually means something, with memorable moments, real tension, and plenty of laughs along the way, this is it. Absolute banger.

Peace. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Tomb Raider Iโ€ขIIโ€ขIII Remastered Review:
A solid 7/10 for me.
โœ…

Please keep in mind that when reading my review, I never played the original 90s versions. However, Iโ€™ve played every single modern Tomb Raider game since Legend, and I loved them all. Going back to this one is a huge step back, obviously. But for its time, I can see why it was such a revolutionary video game.

Itโ€™s incredibly enjoyable but feels pretty clunky and slow, even with the modern controls added. That said, itโ€™s something you can get used to if you give the game a chance. Might as well, while waiting for Legacy of Atlantis in 2026, am I right?

Out of the three, Iโ€™m still busy with part one, but Iโ€™m really having a good time with it. It reminds me of when I used to enjoy the original Resident Evil trilogy... fun times! Its lack of hand-holding is also something to look out for, though I kind of welcome it.

Anyway, itโ€™s a pretty fun experience. Just pick it up on sale, so you donโ€™t hate yourself if you get bored fast, because that happens to me whenever I get stuck on puzzles, miss a jump, or accidentally dive off a high ledge, which happens like A LOT. ๐Ÿค•

Alan Wake's American Nightmare Review:
โŒ

This game... ah man. It felt largely out of place. I don't remember if it's a continuation of the story of AW1 or where it fits in really, it's been a while since I played it. But I scrolled through my recorded footage to see what's going on and I did NOT like this game. It felt like a copy/paste of Alan Wake 1 but they removed all the good stuff. It's a confusing mess imo. Anyway, I did see many good things about AW2 and I am genuinely excited to give it a shot in a month or 2. However, AW1, you might have a good time. This game is a 3/10 for me. Kinda boring.

Alan Wake Review:
โœ…

The game is fine, from what I remember. Not groundbreaking or anything, but I did enjoy the flashlight mechanic somewhat at the beginning. The game started becoming a little annoying and repetitive towards the 75% mark. The enemy variety was quite small and didn't impress me much. The story is where it gets interesting, though in my opinion. I like how the world builds as he writes, something like that if I remember correctly. I'm really looking forward to trying Alan Wake II in a few months. Not a bad game, a solid 6/10 for me.

I did make a video, but it sucks so I made it private lol.

Agoraphobia Review:
โŒ

This is game is scary... not really that much. Around the time I was playing it in 2021, it was a buggy mess, it kept me walking around to activate events and I keep getting lost. And this was just in the beginning. I don't see myself struggling to try and make it through to the end of the game. Perhaps now in 2025, the game is in a better state, I don't know. I didn't really follow it at all after this.

AER: Memories of Old Review:
โœ…

AER is a very beautiful video game. It's a little challenging from what I remember (played it back in 2022 - sorry for the late review). It has an incredible soundtrack, super smooth gameplay, and quite pretty visuals. Rewatching my gameplay video of this game has made me kind of want to reinstall it and continue it (I didn't finish it originally). The story is kinda confusing, but it does have like a Breath of the Wild type of thing going on. Anyway, if you're a fan of Breath of the Wild or anything like it, this might be worth your time. It's also mostly a game for chilling out after a long day of work. Or stress. Or both.

Here is my gameplay video if you wanna check it out:

03.04 Review:
โŒ

This is a run-of-the-mill horror game from 2019 that doesn't really stand out. I'm not entirely sure what the story's about, but it feels like every other horror game from that era, complete with recycled assets. It's not scary, and the monster designs are uninspired. However, watching my uncle get jumpscared and struggle with the awkward mechanics was genuinely entertaining. After he finished, I played through some of it myself. The creatures are hilariously glitchy, especially when you kill them. Their limbs twitch in ways that had me laughing non-stop. The sound design is decent, particularly for the monsters, though the animations are janky and frustrating, especially during door animations and cutscenes. On the bright side, the combat feels solid. Shooting the gun has weight to it and is actually satisfying. I must admit, that bright side is looking pretty dim.
