Here’s my Musical Poppy Playtime OC

Appearance:
Melody-Rex is a tall, humanoid T-Rex animatronic with a soft, teal-blue exterior made of segmented metal plating covered by a thin layer of glossy rubberized coating. Her design strikes a balance between cartoon-cute and industrially mechanical.

Backstory:
Name: Anne Myers
Age: 10
Background: A shy but musically gifted child who attended the Playtime Co. “Playcare” program.
🎵 Personality
Anne was quiet, curious, and often hummed to herself when she was nervous.
Other children teased her for preferring music class to playtime, so she spent most breaks alone with a little red cassette player she carried everywhere.
Workers in the Playcare wing called her “Little Rexy” because she loved dinosaurs and made up songs about them.
🧸 Discovery
Playtime Co.’s Sound Stage researchers noticed her talent during a “Music Makes You Smile!” event, where she wrote and performed a short jingle entirely by herself.
The engineers were fascinated by how her voice registered on their new Emotion Resonance Monitor, producing unusually high readings of “positive influence.”
They invited her to “help record new toy voices.”
⚙️ Afterward
She was listed as relocated to Sound Stage Division — a vague entry that appeared in Playcare’s records just before the department closed.
Months later, the first Melody-Rex animatronic prototype was completed, bearing a voice that matched Anne’s pitch range almost perfectly.
Even her favorite lyric appeared etched on the base plate of her chest speaker:
“Music never says goodbye.”
