Since going on-air in 1957, WTJU has brought people together through music and conversation. For over six decades, we've aired excellent music for all tastes, from all genres and traditions. Our non-profit station brings music to central Virginia and beyond through our flagship 91.1 FM broadcast, website streaming, live in-person experiences, community events, youth training programs, and education.
WTJU is powered by hundreds of volunteers, individual donors, UVA support, and business underwriters. Listen live and join a 70 year community of both long-time and new listeners at wtju.net.
