Soumyakanti Dutta is one of the editor of reputed Bengali Magazine “Bichitrapatra”, also associated with the Heritage Bengali Magazine “Sandesh”, which was started by Late Upendrakishore Raychoudhury. After that, Sukumar Ray, Satyajit Ray became the editor of this magazine. Soumyakanti directed two documentary films— “Sandesh 100”, “Peristan: The World of Lila Majumdar”. His two books— “Aban Thakur” (published by Ananda Publishers Private Limited, 2021) and “Bibhutibhushan” (published by Lalmati Publishers, 2022).
Soumyakanti was born in Kolkata on 22nd May, 1999.
