I remember as a teenager I would walk around with a comb in my hand (for my hair purposes 😂) everywhere I went. It was so bad that my friend mom would say, “there go that girl with that comb in her hand) 😂 It was ALWAYS hair for me! I remember one day we had a class assignment in school about where we see ourselves in the near future. (My presentation was being a hair salon owner) . Once again it was ALWAYS hair for me! So, this was my plan. & I heard a preacher say, “The Plan Is Easy, But The Process Is Difficult.” Fast Forward, I started doing hair after high school on family members, and I kept this up, but not enough (I see now) it should’ve been consistent in order to see progress. (I gave up , because I wasn’t seeing progress.) Years went by, I’ll go back to it every now and then. But not consistently! I’ll look at other people work , and say why my stuff don’t look like that . 😂 I used to say , I wish I knew how to braid. It was a constant battle! 😩 I started getting serious about the “GIFT” GOD Had Given To Me! I went to school to get my license (still not knowing how to do hair lol) , I’ll get up in the middle of the night watching hair videos. This time I became consistent in doing hair , and trying styles on people for free. TODAY, I am a licensed cosmetologist, who’s working on her own shop, and better now than I was before doing hair! (Still not where I wanna be, but it’s coming 💪🏽) Moral of the story is: IF GOD HAS GIVEN YOU A GIFT, DON’T LET IT DIE!!! You may have some rough days, sleepless nights, and even self doubt. You may not have the support! JUST DON’T Let It Die! BE CONSISTENT Even After The Failures! Anything God Gives Doesn’t Comes Easy, BUT YOU’LL APPRECIATE IT ALL THE MORE! 💯 Because You Worked For It 💪🏽
