Meet Mellow, our little orange ball of sunshine! 🍊 Why the name Mellow? Well, we had a big cat named Big Yellow and a smaller one named Small Yellow, so naturally, he became Little Yellow – and yes, I know, it's a bit silly 😂. Honestly, I think it was my way of making up for not being able to keep Big Yellow with me because of work.
I first found Mellow during the rainy autumn season, and it wasn’t so much that I saw him, but I heard him. His little eyes were barely open, but his cries were so loud! I knew I had to bring him home, or he might not survive the next downpour. He was so tiny, but his appetite was huge! He'd eat so much, and even though his head was small, his belly got round and full. At around 3-4 months old, I’d feed him milk from a ceramic bowl, and he would stick his whole face into the bowl to drink – no problem getting his nose and eyes soaked! He’s definitely a fighter, with such a strong will to survive.
Today, Mellow is the biggest orange cat in the house, even though we have an older, big tabby cat too. He’s still the largest in size, and honestly, it’s pretty hilarious to see him grow into such a big, strong cat!

Found these cute old pics of my cats, Dusty and Pepper, and wow, it brought back so many memories! 😻
When we first met, Dusty’s name came from how messy he looked – his fur was all over the place and he just looked 'dirty' 😂. As for Pepper, she’s a girl and got her name because her fur reminded me of pepper and salt.
It's crazy to see how far they've come, from tiny, helpless kittens to the clean, playful little furballs they are now. So proud of how much they've grown! These pics are the perfect before-and-after. ❤️
