I made this custom car decal with my Cricut, and I’m absolutely obsessed with how clean and bold it turned out. There’s something so satisfying about turning a simple vinyl sheet into a personalized sticker that speaks your vibe—and this #craftlife decal does just that!

If you’ve been wondering whether your Cricut Maker, Explore, or Joy can cut permanent vinyl for car decals—the answer is 100% yes. With just a few tools, your favorite font, and a little bit of transfer tape magic, you can create your own DIY decals for cars, laptops, water bottles, or anything with a smooth surface.

This design was cut using permanent adhesive vinyl, and I applied it to the outside of the rear window and it’s been going strong for almost two years!

📌 Cricut Tip: Test different vinyl settings for permanent adhesive vinyl to get the clean cut you need, burnish your transfer tape REALLY well, and peel slowly at an angle for a flawless transfer!

Custom car decals are one of the easiest beginner Cricut projects—and they make great gifts, small business products, or just fun personal touches. I’m always amazed at how professional DIY Cricut decals look once they’re on the car!
