Working as a DM setter for a fitness coach on Instagram with over 250k followers.

I've made so much progress over the past few weeks it's crazy.

GoHighLevel is down, so I just want to comment on the fact that being a new appointment setter is kinda rough.

It's officially been 2 weeks since I started setting for the first time ever, and since then my nose has been to that grindstone. It's hard to imagine doing this part time, how do people even work part time (while also trying to become better).

How do people have free time at all while working? I understand the few minutes here and there which do add up, but I mean actual free time, as in hours in the day.

Maybe I just need to be more efficient, but so far I can't imagine taking 1-2 hours to do something that's not appointment setting.

OK, so I'm going to pull off an Elon Musk and reveal my Super Duper Secret YouTube plan.

"But Cameron, isn't it kinda dumb to post your strategy on the internet where everyone can see it, before you've even taken action on it, which will increase your dopamine and trick you into believing you've made it when you haven't?"

Yeah, but that's not going to be an issue for me, lol.

The most important thing for me right now is having a "treasure trove" of content that people can look at 5, 10 years from now, when I inevitably become successful (work ethic and time = success). I want people to see that, yeah, his videos were a lot worse, but I can see that he indeed struggled at the beginning, he made X and y and z mistake, just like me.

I got this idea from looking at Mr. Beast's YouTube channel. Of course, Mr. Beast is in the entertainment niche, and I am appealing to the sales and business niche, but there's so much to learn from looking at his older videos.

I realized that the focus should not be on "becoming viral", but it should be on making a ton of videos, improving something in each one, and gathering knowledge of what makes a great video great (while shortening my learning curve by learning from other creators who've become successful).

Do I have a subscriber goal? Yeah, it's to get 200 subs by October 6, 2026.
Not a crazy amount, but that keeps me grounded, because it encourages me to keep going.

Apart from that, I want to achieve daily uploadship. If I can get to this level, by the end of 2025 I'll have added over 50 videos to my channel. If every single that I post has something improved, then who knows how far I can go?

I'm not sure if I said it before, but I really like to watch Mr. Beast's older videos (around 2015, 2016). Those videos are very inspiring and motivational, ESPECIALLY because of who he is right now. That's the vibe I hope to create with my videos. I want to give people hope, and inspiration, and a sense of competitiveness.

So yeah, in an essence, that's my master plan for the next year.

Get to daily uploadship, make every single video better, make videos that I want to watch, and inspire others. If I do that, I'll get to 200 subs by Oct 6, 2026.

Guaranteed.

I've got a lot to learn.

Being a setter has taught me so much so far, can't wait to learn more.

I've made a few mistakes (ok, more than a few), but it's worth it.

I will improve faster.
I will become better.
I will master appointment setting.

And I'm documenting it all.

I love making YouTube videos.

I recently went on a bit of an hiatus, I promise I didn't quit lol.

I'll upload a bit later today, on a video that will most definitely be the best I've made so far.

Let's go!
