And all of this, came from the remnant soul that was deceived to travelling to a different world and had his Protagonist Aura stolen.
My thoughts: Not for the faint of heart. The MC in this novel is "evil" in its fullest sense. He represents the idea of ever growth and evolution, constantly trying to be better.
"Negary is a pursuit, a meaning, a way of thinking, a concept. He himself represents the evolution to become an increasingly better self. Negary is thus not an individual, and every being that shares the desire of becoming more perfect become a part of 'his' collective self."
Oh btw, the author is most definitely a fan of Ri. As the MC's name is Wang Yuan, quite frankly a dig at Fang Yuan.
At the very start of the novel, the protag is transmigrated as your normal Isekai protag. Thinking it will be a goodie two shoes world. But his "system" back stabs him and takes his protag aura. Which renders him useless and quite frankly... D*e. He survives somehow and later develops this persona of "Negary" and accepts his "monster" self.
All of this happened in a span of less than 10 chapters, btw. Check this novel out if you like Evil or self serving MCs.

There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'!?"
My thoughts: Genuinely one of the most intriguing horror novel I have read so far. The beauty of this novel lies within it's psychology and especially the characters. They feel real, alive, with braincells.
It's fast paced, but even then the story and characters are impactful. Foreshadowings are amazing. And above all the Main Character, Chen Ge. He is... Real.
He's not someone overly righteous, neither he is an evil blocke. He manipulates people to get information, hammers the bad guys or one trying to harm his haunted house to submission. Yet, when the time comes. He does help people. The thing I like about him a LOT is that he doesn't go out of his way to help people. Like he won't endanger himself.
I know, reading this might seem like he is a jerk. But trust me, once you read the novel. You will come to love him.
There are a lot of things, I didn't mention. Becuz, quite frankly I suck at this. Anyways, if you are searching to read something do check this out.
