I gave SADNESS a little room Just enough to remind me I am human. I came home and she let in ANGER She said anger needed a place for the night I was foolish... I was naive Anger came with TEARS and DEPRESSION and a bag of LIES Of course! She came with her babies.. They threw a party ...with the aid of DECEIT and his wealthy friend we all got DRUNK in SEXUAL IMMORALITY. All this to keep SORROW away They stayed just for the night. At dawn I asked them to leave They laughed and said they had come to stay.. All my pleas fell on deaf ears So I set my house ablaze I lost everything They danced in the flames and to the tune of my agony.... I remembered my first love I wandered off in search for Him Maybe he would shield me for the night I ran to the LORD I said all I need is a place to rest my head . He let me in I bent my head in shame I remembered all his pleas to me... I fell to my knees "all I did was let sadness in" He said wen sadness comes knocking Find Joy in my word.
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8).
Our spirit-filled life is one of indescribable joy, irrespective of our circumstances. The Word declares, "The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17).
It's one of the reasons God tell us to be constantly filled with the Spirit: "And be not drunk with wine, wherein in excess; but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). Imagine if every member of the church is filled with the Spirit, and not with doubt and fear. Then you'd understand what true Christianity is; it's a life of joy.
Imagine everyone coming into the church meetings singing and praising God with joy and carrying that same atmosphere everywhere. That's how it ought to be. When you're filled with the Spirit, your joy overflows.
The Bible says the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Your spirit will continually be energized for victory and success when you're full of joy. Joy is an elixir. Moreover, the Bible says in Isaiah 12:3 "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation."
So, in spite of the things happening in the world today, be full of joy every day, and express it in the liberty of the Spirit.
PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of being continually filled with the Spirit for an all-day, all-time life of victory and dominion! I'm forever joyful, jubilant, triumphant and delighted in the Spirit for a life of peace and joy in the Holy Ghost! To you be all glory and dominion forever, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

1. Don’t let the praise get to your head and criticism get to your heart. Very few people escape the mental and spiritual heaviness that comes with being in the limelight. Humility is a pursuit not just a principal. People will have an opinion about you or hate you but they don’t actually know you. Trust the voices that truly know you.
2. Contentment is key. Contentment is where you are most happy. When you hunger for the praise of others, the biggest check, the beautifulest woman, the flyest car, you’ll always be hungry. You waste your best years chasing what can never be caught.
3. If you live for people’s acceptance, you’ll die from their rejection. You’re going to walk in rooms with great and respected people often. Do nothing but be yourself. You are enough. They don’t have a special club you need to be accepted into. You’re already accepted by God.
