Hey, everyone. I hope 2026 has been at least a decent new year for you all so far. And I apologize for not uploading anything new on this channel in the past 2 months; life has been a little crazy during that timeline, and it's prevented me from getting enough time and energy to work on my videos. But before I give official updates, I want to say that I saw the new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and I loved it. Yoshi is finally here, and he's just as adorable as ever! We also got Birdo confirmed to be in the movie. I'm so pumped for TSMGM, which is now set to premiere on April 1 (April Fool's Day) instead of April 3, possibly because they realized the latter date is Good Friday this year.

Okay; now for the official updates. While I can promise that I'll share more content on this channel for 2026, the first thing I want to upload for the new year is my overdue review video of the Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir movie. I'm really sorry this video is taking longer than expected to get out; the main reason for that--outside of life and circumstances beyond my control--is because editing some parts of the video proved to be more challenging than I thought, especially when deciding which scenes from the movie to use. I honestly envy some of those known online reviewers who seem capable of making their videos in a short amount of time. Anyway, my review of the Miraculous movie is going to be the biggest video I've ever made so far; about 45 minutes long. No promises or guarantees, but I plan to get my video out by the end of February (possibly before ‪@Cartoonshi‬ releases his long awaited Miraculous video). Hopefully, once the video is out, it won't get blocked in 30+ territories like my AMV of the Miraculous movie did. If that does happen, then I have an alternative for the video. After I'm done with my Miraculous movie review video, I will work on the remastered version of my Spider-Man & Pomni plush short, which I'm sure ‪@MollyKetty‬ is looking forward to. Until then, be on the lookout for the thumbnail below.

In light of The Amazing Digital Circus second anniversary, does anyone remember the plushy video I made last year for the series first anniversary that featured ‪@MollyKetty‬ as the voice of Pomni? Well, as of a suggestion Molly gave me earlier this year, I decided to do a remastered version of that video, which would include altered voices of Pomni and Jax to better resemble their canon voices (I'm keeping Spider-Man's voice the same because I feel my natural speaking voice fits his) and fixed lines that Molly either forgot to send the first time or mistakenly mispronounced. I initially thought about getting the remastered version of my Spider-Man & Pomni plush video out around this time, but I hadn't really been able to work on it due to being busy with life and other projects throughout the year. But I'll be sure to work on the remastered video as soon as possible; and if all goes well, I should have it out somewhere between November 10 (which is my birthday) and December 12 (which is when Episode 7 of TADC is set to premiere). If not, then hopefully before 2025 ends. Until then, please check out the original Spider-Man & Pomni video (it could really use more views).

The hit animated Netflix movie based off the popular (if controversial) French CGI cartoon Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is officially 2 years old now! And what better way to celebrate that than to share an AMV I made and uploaded in late February this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUmVn...

Btw, something most of you likely don't know is that my Miraculous Movie AMV is blocked in some territories around the world. At first, it was only blocked in Russia for the copyrighted song. But then, a couple of nights after its upload, the video got blocked in 30 other territories (including the series' home country France) because of certain clips. Yeah; the Miraculous Corp is pretty strict when it comes to copyright infringement, regardless of how trimmed down the used clips are. Despite that, though, the video managed to gain over 300 views; possibly because there are still plenty of Miraculous fans in the United States. And for the past few months, I've been debating on whether I should edit the parts in the video to get it unblocked in the 30 territories or just leave it as is until something else happens to it. Either way, just to be on the safe side, I decided to put the AMV in my Google Drive and Odysee account; so anyone who lives in any of the territories where it's blocked here on YouTube can find another way to view it.

Google Drive: drive.google.com/file/d/111VhSVeDhd4vM_7St3TnZTUUH…
Odysee: odysee.com/@jtrain027:3/Higher-Love---Miraculous-M…

Here are the territories that the video is currently blocked in: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine

One last thing, my review video of the Miraculous Movie has been taking a little longer than expected to complete. But everything's slowly coming together now; and if all goes well enough, I should finally have it out sometime during the month of August (hopefully not getting blocked in the same territories again). Until then, Happy 2nd Anniversary to Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie aka Ladybug & Cat Noir Awakening!

Jaws is officially 50 years old now! That's right; the movie that started the summer blockbuster, launched the career of filmmaker Steven Spielberg, and changed people's perspectives on sharks is now half a centaury old. This is one of my favorite horror/thriller movies (even though I ironically don't like sharks); and after all these years, I say the film still holds up well with its initially unique premise, suspenseful atmosphere, nice editing and cinematography, memorable scenes and quotes, good performances by the main cast, great directing by Spielberg, and of course the iconic musical score by legendary composer John Williams. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the time to make a video to celebrate this milestone. Sorry. But you can check out my shark movies tribute video I made back in 2021: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkxU0...

Happy 50th Anniversary, Jaws!

A Goofy Movie is officially 30 years old now! Hard to believe it's been three whole decades since one of my favorite animated Disney films came out and went from an underrated gem to a cult classic thanks to its heartfelt father-son story between Goofy and Max and the unforgettable Powerline soundtrack (especially the songs "I2I" and "Stand Out"). In celebration of this, I watched A Goofy Movie on Disney+, and it's just as great as I remember. I also watched the documentary Not Just A Goof, which shows how the movie was made and garnered immense amounts of nostalgia love in recent years. I highly recommend checking out the documentary.

Unfortunately, I didn't make a video to celebrate this day due being busy with life and other projects; and admittedly, I didn't realize the movie was turning 30 until a couple of days ago. But here's a special video featuring Bill Farmer (voice of Goofy) and Jason Marsden (voice of Max): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLROL...

Happy 30th Anniversary to A Goofy Movie!

Hey, everyone! I saw the new Looney Tunes movie The Day the Earth Blew Up in theaters today, and holy crap, was it AMAZING!! This movie really keeps the charm and spirit of the Looney Tunes franchise without being too modern, especially with the familiar cartoony animation. (Minor spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it yet!) Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are a great duo (with Eric Bauza still doing a fantastic job voicing them), the relationship between Porky and Petunia is sweet (with the latter herself being likeable here), the "villain" is entertaining, most of the side characters are likeable and/or humorous (with Farmer Jim being my personal favorite), the slapstick humor and fourth wall jokes are hilarious, there are some good heartfelt moments, the action and sci-fi sequences are cool, the soundtrack--which includes remastered versions of classic Looney Tunes music and a couple of licensed songs--is good, and there's a great moral about sticking together no matter what. My mom saw the movie with me. She isn't into animation like I am, but loves the Looney Tunes; and while she was disappointed Bugs Bunny and other familiar characters weren't in the movie, she still enjoyed it nonetheless. Also, while the theater we were in wasn't "packed", there were some people in it--half of whom were little kids with their parents/guardians.

Overall, The Day the Earth Blew Up is a great Looney Tunes movie, and it was good to see a 2D animated film in the theaters again since (I think) The Princess and the Frog. If you haven't already, please go see this movie while it's still in theaters to support both 2D animation and the Looney Tunes franchise, because Warner Bros--or more specifically its current CEO--clearly no longer cares about them. Also, let's hope Ketchup Entertainment will release Coyote vs. Acme next year in 2026.

Hey, everyone! For this channel's final community post of 2024, I just wanted to let you all know that after waiting a whole week due to being busy with Christmas related stuff, I saw Sonic the Hedgehog 3. And it was...AWESOME!! I totally agree with those that say this is the best of the Sonic Cinematic Universe so far, because just about everything in it was great. But since I don't have time to do an official review video of it, I'll just give my quick thoughts on Sonic 3 right here. (Minor spoilers warning!)

Not only are the SCU's versions of Team Sonic still great, but this was probably the best version of Shadow in long time, with the amazing Keanu Reeves giving a fantastic vocal performance the tragic black hedgehog. Jim Carrey is still wonderfully entertaining as not just Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, but also Dr. Gerald Robotnik. Speaking of whom, it wasn't mentioned in the movie, and I don't know if it's ever been slightly hinted in the Sonic franchise, but since Gerald Robotnik is the grandfather of both Maria and Ivo, doesn't that technically make the latter two siblings or cousins? (I suddenly wish there were more theories about that.) Well anyway, the visual effects and action sequences were better than ever, the soundtrack was great, there were plenty of humorous and heartfelt moments, the message about the importance of family is even better than in Sonic 2, and there was a lot more faithfulness to the Sonic franchise than the previous films. Also, I can confirm that not only does a revamped version of the popular Crush 40 song "Live & Learn" play in the climax, but Sonic and Shadow do their iconic SA2 pose. Twice. Oh, and you've got to stay for the two post-credit scenes, because they confirm which Sonic characters will be in the 4th movie set to premiere in 2027 (assuming you didn't get spoiled about that already…)

All in all, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is undoubtably both the best in the SCU so far and one of the best films of 2024, and I highly recommend checking it out even you're not really a Sonic fan. Also, once good enough footage comes out, I might make a music video tribute of Sonic 3 in the future like I did with the previous films. Though, I wonder which Crush 40 song would be more fitting for it: "I Am (All of Me)" or "All Hail Shadow"? Well, until then, I wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year!

We got two anniversaries for December 6, 2024!

First up, Rankin Bass' Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is officially 60 years old! Hard to believe it's been six whole decades since this classic stop motion animated Christmas special premiere on TV and became one the most iconic animations of the holiday season alongside A Charlie Brown Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I loved Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer as a kid, especially its characters and songs. And while I don't watch the special nearly as often as I used to, I say it still holds up well to this day. In celebration of the TV special's anniversary, I made a drawing of Rudolph himself.

Secondly, one of my favorite anime films The Last: Naruto the Movie is officially 10 years old! For those who don't know, I was fan of the Naruto series ever since the English dub of the anime arrived in the USA in 2005. I really liked the series for its characters, action scenes, quirky humor, and representation of Japanese culture. Although I haven't officially watched Naruto in years due to feeling that it lost much of its entertainment with the polarizing sequel Boruto: Naruto Next Generation (as well as the fact that they're rarely on TV at a decent time these days), I still the series overall and will always be grateful for it getting me into anime in general. Another thing I will always be grateful for with this series is it giving me my OTP (One True Pairing), Naruto Uzumaki x Hinata Hyuuga aka NaruHina! The moment Hinata was introduced and shown to have a crush on titular protagonist Naruto, I almost immediately started shipping these two, because I was glad there was a girl who never hated Naruto and actually loves him for who he is after the poor boy was shunned by most of their home village due to having a nine-tailed fox demon sealed within him. I was very happy (if surprised) that NaruHina became canon in the original series ending; and IMO, The Last did a great job showing how the two got together (even if it took Naruto a while to return Hinata's feelings), especially with that kiss they share at the end--which was #1 on my Top 10 Favorite Kiss Scenes in Movies (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a21BN.... Even after a whole decade, I say The Last is still great (if a tad flawed). Sadly, I don't have a new video to celebrate this film's anniversary due to being preoccupied with other projects and realizing its time too late. So instead, I'm going to share a somewhat unique AMV of The Last that I made back in December 2016 (which hopefully some users like ‪@HiddenWhiteFang‬ remember) and reuploaded on my Odysee account: odysee.com/@jtrain027:3/Don't-Blame-It-On-The-Last…

Happy 60th Anniversary to Rankin Bass' Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and 10th Anniversary to The Last: Naruto the Movie!

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie is officially 20 years old now! Hard to believe it's been two whole decades since the first official film based off Nickelodeon's most popular animated series premiered in theaters, initially to serve as its finale due to late creator Stephen Hillenburg not wanting the show to go through seasonal rot (which sadly happened anyway) and leaving the company afterward. Man, I feel old. Even though I don't watch much of SpongeBob SquarePants anymore, especially after Stephen Hillenburg passed away back in 2018, the series still holds a special place in my heart and mind. And the first movie will always be one of my favorites, no matter what.

Unfortunately, I don't have a video to celebrate the movie's 20th Anniversary due to being preoccupied with life and other projects. But considering how strict Viacom is when it comes to people using SpongeBob and others IPs of Nickelodeon and Paramount outside said companies (even if they're under fair use), it's probably for the better. So instead, I'm just going to share the iconic song that was played at the end of the movie, "Ocean Man": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP0oQ...
And while I'm at it, here's a drawing I made of Princess Mindy, whom IMO is one of the best characters in the SpongeBob franchise (and I wish we could've seen more of her outside the movie)

Happy 20th Anniversary to The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie!

[First community post of this channel.]

I originally planned to make a video for this, but decided at the last minute to write a status about it instead. The critically acclaimed TV movie Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show is officially 15 years old now! Yep; it's been a whole decade and a half since a movie based off the popular and successful Cartoon Network show Ed, Edd n Eddy premiered and officially ended the series. Hard to believe so much time has passed. I remember when EEnE premiered back in 1999, I initially had no interest in the show, because it didn't look like my cup of tea. But after watching one episode, it immediately became one of my favorite CN shows (and animated shows in general). I loved the show's slapstick humor and found the characters (specifically the Ed trio) very entertaining. EEnE lasted 10 years with a total of 130 episodes, 4 specials, and a movie. Although the show itself didn't get a proper final episode, Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show served as the finale, with many people (including my friend ‪@Hot293wildcat‬ ) and I agreeing that it was great way to conclude the series.

To celebrate this time, I decided to share an AMV of the movie that I made back in late 2015. It was the very first AMV I every made; as well as the first video on my original YouTube channel jtrain027 to gain 1,000 views (granted, it took some months to reach that amount; but I still consider it an achievement nonetheless). And a few years after jtrain027 was taken down on YT, I reuploaded the AMV on my Odysee account: odysee.com/@jtrain027:3/Ed-Edd-n-Eddy's-Big-Pictur…

Happy 15th Anniversary to Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show!
