Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is the sixth largest school district in the nation, serving more than a quarter-million students in 241 traditional schools and 91 charters. BCPS is Florida’s first fully accredited school system since 1962 and serves a diverse population, with students representing 177 different countries and 151 different languages.
BCPS is also the largest employer in Broward County, with more than 14,000 teachers and nearly 33,000 total employees.
