Sophie Zhang, Frances Haugen and Ephrem Yalike-Ngonzo risked their livelihoods to protect the public interest. From revealing election interference and toxic disinformation to exposing foreign propaganda, their courage has helped drive real change. But they shouldn't have to stand alone.
At Transparency International, we believe whistleblowers must be protected, not persecuted. For over a decade, we’ve championed their right to speak up by advocating for robust legal protections, safe & accessible reporting systems and cultural environments that support integrity.
